Chapter 18: Trouble

Amelia emerged from Clarence's hut by midday. When she awoke that morning, Clarence was already gone, but he left a note for her, letting her know that he was going to take care of some business.

Not wanting to be that woman that constantly harassed her lover, Amelia didn't let the loneliness she felt at waking up alone get the best of her. Instead, she washed and changed before heading out to see if maybe there was something she could help with around the pack grounds.
