Chapter 120

(Anastasia's POV)

Still debating with my inner self whether to attend that wedding gown fitting or not. I might be a lunatic, debating with my inner self, where in fact I was already at the office for an emergency meeting.

Mom said the appointment is at 9:00 which is the same appointed schedule of the emergency meeting. I'm not even bothered a bit though.

I reached for my coffee and take a sip while sitting comfortably in my swivel chair. I actually arrived here at the company at 5:30 in the early morning. I've never been an early bird, but I have to, just to avoid Mom's presence.

I heard Grandfather will come back today. I was hoping that he would stay in France for weeks, for me to just have a little bit of peace. One day and one night are not enough for my inner peace.

Letting out a sigh, my phone rang. I reached for my phone on the table and saw Mom's number on the screen. I counted 10 seconds before I answered the call.

"Hey, Mom. I'm busy right now. Call you later." the pressed
