Eliza blows a kiss down the phone and hangs up, putting the phone down and resting her head in her arms folded on the desk. Ash frowns and walks over to her,

“Honey?” He kneels beside her, turning her chair a little so she looks at him. She sighs,

“Somethings wrong, but she won’t tell me what. I know her too well for her to hide this sort of thing from me. She’s rattled, and she’s never rattled. Not even Ben’s death rattled her like this. It’s bad, I know it is.” She sighs, and slides off the chair and into his arms. He moves the chair a bit so they have room. She rests her head on his shoulder, and he holds her tightly.

Eddie knocks and she looks up and nods, he enters and she stands.

“Sorry, I was feeling sorry for myself. Okay. What’s up? Oh, right I should update you on my stuff.” She and Eddie sit and Ash moves back to the sofa. Kai is playing a game on his phone. Kai looks at him,

“You good?” Ash nods, and sighs and then shakes his head,

“It never rains but it pours for her.” Ka

She knows he’s only curious.Five minutes later she looks at her work, tapping a gauge to see if the needle moves. When it does, she nods, and they traipse back upstairs to find Molly.
