Chapter Nineteen

"Wake up, we are here!" Christopher said and shook Rose who had fallen asleep on the way.

"What time is it?" Rose asked as she woke up and looked at Christopher.

"It's 8 pm already. Let's go in. We have arrived." Christopher said and opened the door to get out.

It was at that moment that Rose looked at her surroundings. She looked at the house in front of her and was wowed. The building was big. She knew how the house looked like but she didn't get to admire it then. They were a total of five cars parked at the garage and the middle of the compound was a water fountain with colorful lights around it. The lights gave it a kind of glow. She opened the back of the car and carried Princess who was sleeping. As she lifted her up, Princess woke up.

"Where are we?" She asked as she looked around with sleepy eyes.

Christopher who was taking out their bags from the trunk chuckled and said, "this..." He gestured at the whole compound and continued. "Will be your new home. This is our house!"

"Woooow..." Princes exclaimed as she looked around. "This place is so big. It's like a castle!" She said happily.

"Let's go in," Christopher said as he led them into the house while carrying their bags. He opened the door and walked them into the house and Rose and Princess exclaimed together, "wow!!!"

He led them further into the sitting room and said, "this is the sitting room, it's mostly used to host visitors, and over there is the Kitchen," he said and pointed in the direction of the kitchen. What he didn't notice was that mother and daughter were not even listening to him.

Immediately Rose walked through the door, she was blown speechless. The inside of the mansion was like walking into a different world on its own. The walls were glinting with golden lights and it led them into the sitting room. The sitting room was filled with white leather couches and Rose was sure that, If she were to sit on it, it will be so soft.

When Christopher didn't hear anything from his usually talkative daughter and wife, he turned to look at them and saw Rose with Princess in her arms and looking around the sitting room. "Hello!!" He called out to them.

"Wow, mom, this is a real castle. It's so beautiful." Princess finally voiced out.

"Ladies!!" Christopher called and that finally pulled them out of their admiration. "Let's go. I guess you two are tired and you need to freshen up. Right?" Christopher asked.

"Yes, yes... Let's go. We'll do all the exploration we need tomorrow morning." Rose said and walked towards him.

"Dad," Princess called out to Christopher.

"What is it, baby?" Christopher asked while they walked up the stairs.

"Is this really where we will be staying?" She asked.

"Yes, this is our house. Don't you like it?" Christopher asked.

"I love it! It's like a beautiful castle. I want to live here forever and ever!!" She said and hugged Rose's neck.

"You haven't even seen the rest of the house and you already want to live here forever?" Rose asked surprised.

"I don't need to see the rest of the house mom, the house is beautiful and I have you and daddy here so, that's all I need in order to stay here forever," Princess said.

"That's right baby. What you need is just family and you can stay where your family is." Christopher added. "With that, I bring you to your room!!" He said and opened the door to Princess's room.

"Woooow..." Princess said and struggled to get out of her mother's arms. The room was very wide and it had a huge bed placed by the wall facing the door. At the right-hand side of the room, there was a wide window overlooking a garden with beautiful flowers of all kinds. Pink curtains were on every wall in the room and on all certain were drawings of different Disney princesses. There was also a reading table and on it was a desktop computer.

The lighting of the room was wow. It was brightly lit and it was also in pink and white colors. On the bed was a duvet cover in pink colors and a lot of pillows on the bed. "Oh, my, God. This is out of this world dad!!" Princess exclaimed as she walked around the room. "Some many pinks and princesses."

"Do you like your room?" Christopher asked. He has been nervous about the setting of the whole house and feared they wouldn't like the house.

"Do I like it? I love it, dad!! It's so beautiful that I don't feel like going out again!!" She said and swirled round in the room.

"Well, am glad you like it. Come let me show you your closet and every other thing you need to know." Christopher said and turned to the left side of the room. He opened a curtain and there were two doors there. He opened the first one and said, "this is your bathroom baby!"

"Wow, dad! This is so great. Do you see that mom? My bathroom is so beautiful!" Princess exclaimed.

"This is too much for a three-year-old Christopher!" Rose finally said something.

"What do you mean by too much? This is the befitting room for a princess and my daughter is a princess. Even you named her Princess." Christopher pointed out.

"Well, am only saying it's too big for her. Nothing else," Rose added.

"What's in the other room?" Princess asked.

"Well," Christopher said as he walked out of the bathroom and picked up the bag that he dropped before entering the bathroom. "This is your," he opened the door and walked in then said, "your closet. This is your closet. Do you like it?" He asked.

In the closet was everything anybody would need. It was like walking into a Mall. Different kinds of clothes and shoes that any child will ever need. "Are all these clothes for me?" Princess asked.

"They are all yours. I prepared them all for you. When your mother agreed to come with me, I ordered for your room to be made." Christopher said.

Princess rushed to him and hugged him then said, "I love you dad! You are the best. Now, am hungry" she said and pulled out of the hug.

"I bought some things on our way here but, I believe there would be something in the fridge tho. Let me show your mom her room then, we can go and get something to eat." Christopher said and led them out of the room. He walked three doors away from Princess's room and opened the door.

"Jeez, this is like a different world! You are an amazing dad!" Princess exclaimed as she looked around the room.

The room was three times the size of Princesse's and it was designed differently. The roof of the room was like a sky filled with stars. The room was illuminated in blue lights and had a huge bed in the middle of it. There was also a dressing table with a wide mirror connected to it. Rose looked at the room and then looked at Christopher but she didn't say a thing.

Christopher let them admire the room while he went to drop the bags. He came back out and said, "let's go ladies. I'll take you both around the house tomorrow."
