Chapter Sixty Six

An hour later...

They got to Princess's school late due to traffic. When they got there, Princess was waiting for them with a boy and a girl. "Mommy!!!" Princess shouted excitedly when she saw Rose and Christopher. "Dad!!" She called as she also hugged Christopher. "What took you so long to get here?" She asked them after the hugs.

"We are so sorry baby, the traffic on the road was just too much. I can see you have made some friends!" Rose answered and pointed to the two people that was Princess sitting with Princess when they got there.

"Yes!! I made a lot of friends!! Let me introduce them to you!!." Princess said and rushed to call the boy and girl that stood behind when she rushed to meet her parents. "Mom, Dad, this is Mirabel and Frank." She introduced her friends. "Guys, these are my parents!" She said to her friends.

"Good afternoon ma, good afternoon sir," they both greeted.

"Good afternoon.! How are you!?" Rose answered.

"Good afternoon!" Christopher answered.

"Fine! You look so beautiful ma," the little girl Mirabel gushed at Rose.

"Thank you!! You are also very beautiful!" Rose answered with a smile. "Let's go, Princess!" She said to Princess.

"Ok, mom. Let me say goodbye to my friends.!" Princess answered. After a few seconds of saying goodbye, she walked up to her parents and said, "I am ready!"

Christopher took her lunch bag from her and led her to the back door. He opened it and helped Princess climb in. Rose also got into the car and Christopher started the engine. Preparing to drive away. "What about your friends!! Won't they go home!?" Rose asked.

"They will. They are waiting for their mom. They said she would come to pick them up." Rose explained.

"Are they siblings?" Christopher asked.

"Yes! You won't believe who their mom is!!" Princess said excitedly.

"Who is their mom?" Rose asked.

"You won't believe me if I tell you!! Their mother is, Lily Blake. Can you believe it!!" Princess said.

"Are you serious!?" Rose asked Princess. Lilly Blake is a very popular actress in the country. She debuted as a child actress and she can be said to be the most popular actress. She has starred in many movies and almost every brand wants to use her as their ambassador. Rose doesn't watch tv all the time but it is hard to not know her. "She is their mother?"

"Yes, there are so many celebrity Children in my school.!" Princess answered happily.

"Wow!! That's wonderful. So, are they your classmates?" Rose asked. While Christopher just concentrated on driving.

"Mirabel is in my class but Frank is our senior. He is in primary five." Princess answered.

"Hmm, so how was your first day in school?" Christopher who was concentrating on driving asked.

"School was fine. When I got to class, some people were hostile to me. My class teacher asked me to sit with a girl and when she left the class, that girl pushed me away from her side. She asked me to sit on the floor but, Mirabel was the one who came and helped me. She took me to her seat and said I could be her seat partner." Princess explained.

"Mirabel is so kind. Did you report the other girl to the teacher?" Christopher asked.

"I wanted to but, Mirabel told me that the teacher won't do anything about her. She also explained to me that that girl is the daughter of the owner of our school and that's how she behaves." Princess said to her parents.

"That's bad! Because she is the daughter of the owner doesn't give her the right to behave like that. Do you want your father and me to come and talk to your headmistress?" Rose asked.

"No, I will be fine. She came to make trouble with me during the break time but Frank told her off. After that time, she didn't disturb me for the rest of the day!" Princess explained.

"If you say so. Just make sure you don't allow anyone to bully you. If you give her the chance to think she can override you then she will keep making trouble for you." Rose said.

"Yes, your mother is right. Whenever she comes to you again trying to make trouble, just shun her and make her know that you would not give her the chance to boss over you. She is just the owner of that small school. Your father can buy that school If she doesn't take her time!" Christopher said angrily. He would not allow anybody to bully his daughter and anyone who tries will have to face him.

"You don't need to go to such extremes. Princess has said she will handle it. Besides, she has made friends who will help her out." Rose said to Christopher. "Listen, baby, just promise us that you will always come to us whenever you encounter any problem that you can't handle," Rose said to Princess.

"I promise to always come to you when I have a problem that I can't deal with.!" Princess said with a smile.

"That's my girl!" Rose said. "Did you hear that? She will tell us when she can't solve her problems. Now you should stop holding the steering wheel so tight!" Rose said to Christopher.

It was at that moment that he realized he was still holding the wheel very tightly. He freed his hand and smiled at Rose. "I love you, dad!!" Princess who was at the back said and hugged his neck. His anger disappeared immediately.

"I love you too my Princess.! I love you so much!" Christopher answered.

"I am jealous!" Rose said.

"You don't need to be jealous mom!!" Princess said and went to hug Rose. "I love you too... You are the best mom in the whole world!!" Princess said as they hugged.

"I love you too. You are the best as well!" Rose answered as she returned the hug.

It was at that moment that Christopher noticed the car that was behind theirs. While Rose and Princess were talking about what happened to them at work and school, he was trying to see if they were being followed. He increased the speed of his car and the driver of the other car did the same. He slowed down and they slowed down as well. He glanced and Princess and Rose who were laughing and continued to drive. Rose noticed him looking at the mirror continuously and tried to get what was happening. She saw the car behind them and said to Princess. "Buckle your seat belt Princess!"

Princess was surprised by what her mother said but she did as she was told. "Is something wrong?" She asked because of the change of Rose's expression.

"Everything is fine. I just remembered that I have something I want to talk to your dad about." Rose answered. "Here, you can use my phone for the meantime," Rose said and gave Princess her phone.

"What's going on?" She whispered to Christopher.

"We are being followed but, just relax. It might be the press trying to follow us." Christopher said. "Don't worry. I have it under control.!" He added. While they were talking, another car joined the one following them. After a minute, the new car fell behind again. Rose wanted to say something but the call that came into Christopher's phone interrupted whatever she wanted to say. "What's happening?" He asked when he received the incoming call.

"Someone is after your car!" The person at the other end said.

"Yes, I noticed. Who are they? Is it the press?" Christopher asked.

"No boss! They are not part of the press. They came in three cars. Two are on the other lane while one is behind you. We have checked and I think it's the people your father went to see!" The person on the other end answered.

"Wow!! They surely act fast!! I didn't expect them to be so fast! Well, we will do something fun. Place a call to Jonh. He should come out and intercept us at the roundabout before the estate. He will take my wife and daughter home and I will deal with this issue by myself." Christopher instructed and hung up the call. "Don't worry! As long as I am alive, nothing and no one will ever harm you.!" He said to Rose who was watching him.

"I know!!" Rose answered and held one of his hands. "Just be careful.!" She added.

"I will!! Get ready. John will block their view in a few minutes and you and Princess will go with him. I want to deal with them and meet you at home." Christopher said.
