[Kai’s point of view]

As the day grew darker and fewer people were coming in, it had been hours since Ralph and Rhys left. I headed to Cameron's table for the fifth time. He gave me a smile that made me want to squirm. Although genuine, his smile was unsettling, and the fact that he hadn't stopped grinning made it even more unsettling. Didn’t his cheeks hurt from smiling? If I smiled that much, my muscles would be begging for mercy.

"Do you want me to refill it?" I pointed to his fourth cup of coffee. “It appears your date isn’t going to show up anytime soon,”

I saw him pout as he took out his phone and looked at the time. “It’s getting so late, I wonder what’s keeping them so long,” he fluttered his eyes at me. "Sit with me for a little bit?"

Before settling into the chair across from his table, I took a quick look around the restaurant. He grinned. “Would you like to discuss anything in particular?” I could keep him entertained for a while.
