I get back outside feeling refreshed and smelling bonita! I asked for all the injured to be gathered at the back of the castle, the entire castle grounds is in a mess “sir, reporting no one was taken, everyone who was dragged away was retrieved by the redhead and brought back and also the border patrol killed the remaining wolves that tried to escape but the pigs got away”

“It’s understandable for the pigs to get away, it’s okay and I’m just happy we didn’t lose anyone, has everyone gathered?” “yes my King, they’re at the back” “good, let’s go, oh I’m going to need one more thing, bring me some large pitchers of drinking water”

He stops and turns back but I can tell he wants to ask what the water is for, he comes back along with three others, each carrying a pitcher “I’m going to drop some healing potions into the water, after I do so, distribute the water to the wounded” “as you command” they go around sharing the water and one by one my people are healing.

I don’t waste another minute and run to my parents place carrying both bottles Roho gave me, I get to their bedroom and my father is lying on the floor wreathing in pain “father, father I’m here” he looks up at me while holding his leg and sweating profusely “just chop it off Tyler! “Mom! Quick bring me a glass of drinking water” she brings it and I drop the healing potion into it “please father drink, Roho gave it to me” I stoop down and raise his head and he drinks it all down, he thrashes around a few minutes more before calming down and I inspect his injury “I’m going to have to do what Roho did for me, we need to cut out the infected flesh, do you have a medical kit I need a scalpel”

They all scramble out of the room and I can hear them running around the house searching, my sister Taylor comes running back breathlessly carrying a medical bag, she drops it and sits on the floor looking through it “here, here, I have one!” I take it “Dad, I’m going to need you to be as still as possible for me okay, try to endure”

I clean the wound first then slowly slice the infected flesh away, my mom sat on the ground and cradled his head, comforting him as I worked, he grunted but did not move, once I was sure I’d gotten all of it I got some cotton and spread the purple stuff on it and the wound closed up just like mine did.
