Vera was walking in on the balcony. She was not on talking terms with Luke as her statement that she’d split up with him caused a big dent in their relationship. She was pacing back and forth, worried about Christian, when the servant walked toward her.

“Madame, there is a guy from Sir Christian’s office and he wishes to see you.” The servant said, and Vera quickly left her room to meet the guy.

As she approached him, the guy smiled, “Sir Christian sent this for you.” He handed her a letter, and she quickly opened it to read it.

“Hey mom, I am alright, perfectly fine and I’ll come back to you soon. Don’t worry about me, I’ll keep you informed from now. Yours forever, Chris,”

“It’s not his handwriting.” She looked at the boy.
