CHAPTER NINETY FIVE

As we piled back into the Toyota Hilux, the pack members settled in, and Victor took the driver's seat once again.

The engine roared to life, and we began our journey back to our lair. The sun was starting to set, casting a warm golden glow over the horizon, the weight of our investigation hung heavy on our minds.

I couldn't help but notice how restless Victor was, his mind seemingly consumed with finding justice for Mrs. Hope.

I could see the frustration in his eyes as he searched for the next clue, the next piece of the puzzle that would lead us closer to the truth.

"Why did you choose to conduct the investigation in the daytime?" I finally asked, breaking the silence that enveloped the vehicle.

Victor glanced at me, his expression serious. "The nosferatu vampires, they fear the sunlight," he explained. "It's their weakness, and I don't want to risk any confrontation with them in the dark."
