CHAPTER 2-SERVE ME WELL!

Jack immediately turned his wheelchair back to Kate. The bodyguard behind Jack invited Kate to go with them. "Please, Miss Kate. Let's go now."

Kate was dumbfounded. When she signed the marriage contract two days ago, she knew she would soon be married to a man named Jackson Mattew. But she didn't think her wedding day would come so soon. Kate tried to put her mind at ease and said to Jack, "Wait a minute, Mr. Jack. I'll get the contract agreement first." Kate said that and went back to her room with her face flushed like it was on fire.

Kate thought that she was marrying someone who was sick and mentally disturbed. However, her assumption was wrong. It turned out that she was going to marry a paralyzed man. Also, fortunately, the man was very handsome. It's just a pity that Jack suffers from a disability.

Kate took her ID card and put it in her bag, then she took a deep breath to calm her feelings.

"It's okay. Even though he's paralyzed and impotent, it doesn't matter!" Kate said in her heart, she tried to calm herself down.

From today Kate and Jack will become husband and wife. Kate will be a good wife according to her promise.

***

Everything went smoothly. Kate came out of the registry office carrying a marriage certificate.

During the trip, Kate seemed to be daydreaming facing the window. Jack was sitting next to Kate, the expression on his face was data and indifferent.

The car they were traveling in left the city center and headed towards the outskirts. Fewer and fewer pedestrians were seen, until finally only the scenery was visible.

An hour later, their car finally stopped at a villa with elegant and luxurious decorations.

"Mr. Jack, we've arrived," the driver said. He immediately got out of his car and opened the door for Jack. Kate also got out of the car and helped Jack push his wheelchair.

The servants and maids came out of the house and bowed. They formed two lines, respectfully welcoming Kate's arrival. They greeted her in unison, "Welcome Mr. Jack and Miss Kate."

Kate had never received this kind of treatment so she didn't know what to do.

"Take Kate around the house," Jack said to his chief household assistant, Gawali.

Gawali nodded and walked over to Kate. "Miss Kate, I'll show you around the house. If you need anything, don't hesitate to tell me."

"Okay. Thank you," Kate said awkwardly. Kate still felt very unfamiliar with her surroundings as it was her first time coming here.

Then, for one day, Gawali took Kate around the house and reminded her of some of the things she needed to pay attention to.

***

First note, Jack likes quiet. So it was forbidden to make noise in the house.

Kate changed into her comfortable sleeping clothes and lay down on the bed. She took out a notebook and wrote down everything Gawali told her.

The second note was that Jack didn't like pets. So it's better not to have any animals in this house.

Note when, fourth... Kate kept writing it down and before she knew it, she had spent several pages writing it down.

"Why is there so much?" Kate reread all the notes she had written in her book while biting her pen again. She thought that Jack was a difficult person to serve. But, it still didn't matter to Kate. Because, Jack was an impotent man. So, the thing that Kate was most worried about wouldn't be possible. Jack would not be able to fuck Kate. So, Kate still felt safe with that. What a man with impotence couldn't do.

Kate smiled at the thought that her life would not be as bad as she imagined. Now, her mother's illness could be helped, and although Jack was disabled, but at least her husband was very handsome. In Kate's opinion, this situation was much better than the prayer of having to take care of her sickly husband and mother.

Suddenly, the door to the room opened, and Jack walked in. He saw Kate smiling in bed. Jack pushed his wheelchair in. The sound of the wheels turning made Kate look at Jack.

"Mr. Jack!" Kate got up and straightened her clothes. Then she closed her notebook and she got off the bed.

But because she felt nervous, Kate tripped when she stepped down and she fell.

"Aaaaakk!" Kate screamed and closed her eyes. Instantly her body fell into Jack's warm embrace. The powerful aura of masculinity enveloped Kate until her breathing felt labored. She also felt out of control when she saw Jack's charming Adam's apple and jawline.

"Showered yet?" Jack asked like that because he smelled the faint scent of soap while hugging Kate's body.

"Uhm... Already, I've showered, Sir," Kate replied in a stammering voice. Then, she released herself from Jack's embrace.

Kate always felt nervous when dealing with Jack. The way she spoke became stiff. Even though they were married, and had spent some time together.

"OH!" Jack only replied briefly without showing any emotion.

Kate didn't know what else to say. She looked left and right, then ventured to ask Jack. "Have you showered yet? If not, I'll get you some water."

"Yes." Jack was still replying to Kate's words with just a word or two without any continuation. Jack just saying a few words already made Kate so nervous and tense, and she still had to continue living with Jack for a very long time. There was no way Kate could continue to be nervous like this.

In the bathroom, after the bathtub was full, Kate quickly turned off the water faucet. Then she walked out. When she was out of the bathroom, Kate saw Jack reading his notebook. Without thinking, Kate immediately snatched the notebook from Jack's hand. Jack's face still did not show any expression, even though Kate snatched the notebook from his hand.

However, Jack had advised when he was about to enter the bathroom. "Add one more thing in your notebook, that I must be served well when showering."

Kate was dumbfounded. Then, Jack clarified his words, "You know that I am paralyzed, so showering alone is a difficult thing for me. So, as a wife you must help me bathe."

"WHAT?" Kate was even more dumbfounded.

So, Jack meant that Kate should shower him?
