12 - To Mark Her

General POV

Alpha Kai freshened up in no time and appeared behind Katara.

"My Luna."

He called and she jumped, nervous.

"I'd like to speak with you."

Katara said, her voice huskier than she intended.

He'd appeared wearing loose breeches and a shirt that he deliberately left open.

As Katara turned to look at him, her eyes landed on his bare chest down to his belly. She gulped. He was showing her, his taut tummy and his well formed wall-like chest.

"What do you want to talk to me about?"

He asked, taking her tremulous hands in his own as her lips quivered. Her insides yearned for him, a part of her wanted more of all the tenderness his hard features could give and a part of her wanted to retreat.
