Kaia's POV

Laying in my bed and never leaving is the best decision my defeated mind can come up with right now. Even if I wanted to get up, my body had molded itself in my mattress and the sheets held me hostage in my comfort. Blaire had gone home an hour ago after spending the whole weekend with us to make sure I was okay. She spent the first two hours of her awakening this morning attempting to lift my spirits enough for me just to eat some breakfast before she left for work.

I didn't want to eat, drink or think. I wanted to sleep. Maybe if I continue this long enough I can die in this bed and my dad could only nag me from the afterlife when he meets his end too.
