Walk of Shame

Arla's Pov

My face beamed up in joy the moment I reached my apartment. I even did my happy dance the one were I clap my hands, snap my fingers, and the stamp my feet and then I jump throwing my hands and one leg in the air like a ballet dancer. I know it makes me look stupid but I like it.

This was a time to celebrate as I had managed to reach my home in one piece without my pants. I got no awkward stares as I was on my way so that meant no body noticed that I had no underwear.

"Arla Caprice Valetine, where do you think you coming from?" said Lena the moment I opened my door.

My hand travelled to my then very fast beating heart. This girl almost made me get a heart attack.

Plus why did she have to say my middle name, she knows how much I hate it.

"Hey, I don't want the whole building to know I was out all last night."

"Oh you still in the dress you wore yesterday does this mean oh my God you had s.." I immediately placed my hand on her mouth in order to stop her rambling. Oh my God, the cleaners were just few feets away from us.

I quickly opened my door and shoved Lena back inside. I was starting to regret giving her a copy of my keys.

"Hey I can't breathe" She complained and I immediately removed my hand from her.

"Sorry but I wouldn't need to do it if you hadn't been out there telling all my business," I threw a hand up stopping her protest. "Don't you dare say you weren't. Just because people weren't in the hall listening doesn't mean they weren't because am sure this whole floor heard.

"Was I that loud?" She slapped her palm on her head.

"Pretty much you were."

"Am sorry dear, am just so excited to hear how the..."

"Night went," someone finished for her.

"Stacie and Chelsea came strutting our way holding two bottles of champagne.

"Girls, am not in the mood to drink. I have a terrible headache right now."

"Oh my baby," Stacie stopped infront of me with a sad pout on her face. "You'll get better," she pinched my cheek and went join the others on the sofa.

"Sooo," Lena said tapping on her knees.

"What?" I asked looking at the three of them.

"We just wanted to.." Stacie said this time and stopped midway.

"You want what?"

"Nothin just leave it," Lena said only to be shushed up by Chelsea.

"For fucks sake the both of you should stop beating around the bush just ask her already," Chelsea said eyeing the two of my other friends seriously.

"What do you wanna ask me?"

A moment of silence followed between the three girls, they were just sending themselves signals using their hands, eyes and eye brows. They looked nervous.

"Okay, Uhm hum. So tell us how was it last night? Was it short and sweet like Jeremy Or was it long and passionate. I have a super sense you had banging sex last night. Was he rough, was he intense, did he make you feel butterflies. Did he kiss your neck, did you like it when he touched you. what was his size six, seven no he must definitely be eight or nine?" The girl bombarded me with so many questions at once. I just didn't know what to answer first as they all looked so desperate for my answers but neither was I ready to talk about my handsome encounter with my friends.

"I'll tell you after I get a shower okay," I didn't waste any more time, I quickly stood up and hurried to my bedroom were I was sure my crazy friends won't follow me or maybe I had spoken too soon.

"It's okay honey, you can tell us when you showering that will be okay," I could hear them fighting to be closer to the door.

"Am naked," I shouted, dropped my dress and rushed to the bathroom.

Gosh, when you have friends as crazy as mine there is never room for privacy.

After so much begging from my best friends I found myself seated in the middle of the quadrangle with everyone's attention on me. I don't blame them for wanting to find out how my night with Jale was, he was definitely the kind of man every woman couldn't take his eyes off. His bad boy charm is just so alluring, thinking of his eyes reminded me of my favourite ice scream. The way I like to lick it is the very way I wanted to have a taste of every inch of his body.

"Honestly he was amazing. He made me feel in ways no man as ever made me feel." I said as I remembered every touch and every kiss from last night sending chills down my spine.

"Oh I knew I was right about him," Stacie said while dancing around in a circle in the middle of the living room.

It's funny how none of us minds prying into each other's private life. We are just there for each other through everything. The broken hearts, bad grades, cheating boyfriends we fought everything together. I don't know how life would be without these fools.

"Quick question honey but did you use protection." Lena asked. She is the mama bear of the squad.

"Yes, mama. We used protection."

"That's great I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to become an aunt any time soon."

"What you hate kids?" Chelsea asked playfully shoving her.

Lena slapped her hand off her shoulders and looked back at me giving me that serious scary mama look the one that my mama even never gave me.

"Don't get me wrong barbie doll. I love kids and all kids love me.

Me and the other girls looked at each other trying as hard as we could to maintain our laughter but it was just to much we eventually broke up in to lung crushing laughter.

"Guys what's so funny?" Lena asked abviously confused.

"It's just you honey, we all know how much kids hate you. Arla do you remember the day she took us to visit her baby cousin."

I nodded my head at Chelsea in approval. The baby ended up crying so much when she was in Lena's hands that her mom was forced to take her child from Lena. Guess what? The moment baby Suzy was no longer in her aunt's hands she was immediately back to being a peaceful angel.

"Guys it's not my fault. The baby was just hungry and I wasn't her mommy to breastfeed her." Lena tried to explain herself.

"No need to explain yourself angel we all witnessed it." Stacie added making us laugh some more.

"You two chickens shut up." Lena tried scolding them in her scary mama bear voice but it wasn't scary enough to make us quiet.

"Okay, I rest my case. You can all laugh at me as much as you like but I won't be hear to see it," she got up from the sofa and stomped her feet all the way to the kitchen.

"She'll get over it," Chelsea stated and we laughed together.

Stacie popped a bottle of champagne and pour each of us in a glass. If I said I wasn't in a mood to drink then I was definitely wrong because a drink with my favorite girls is something I can never get enough of.

I was about to take a sip of my glass, it was halfway to my lips when we heard a knock at the door.

"Gosh, who is that?" Stacie cried out. She has always been definitely the laziest one of us, so there was no way I expected her to change. She couldn't even answer her own phone calls because she was to lazy to reach it yet it was always just a hand away from her.

"I'll get it," I immediately rested my glass on the table and hurried to get the door. After all this was my home so whoever was at the door was in need of me.

"Hello, how may I help you?" My eyes widened, my eyeballs were almost dropping out of their sockets when I saw who was at the door.

"Jale," I blurted out, not quite believing my eyes.

"Is that you?"
