Chapter Ten

Crystal drove straight to Starlia's house, her head still reeling from what had just happened.

She walked straight to the refrigerator to get herself a cold glass of water, ignoring Starlia who was standing at the entrance of the door.

"Are you okay? ?" Starlia asked following her inside.

" The most bizarre thing just happened, you won't believe it! " She exclaimed , slamming the now empty bottle of water on the counter. 

Starlia laughed, " Tell me about it, bizarre things are always your thing"

Crystal could feel her blood pumping, her heart racing , she had almost kissed him! The memory of his intoxicating cologne and the masculine smell of his aftershave still burned in her mind,  she could feel the colors creeping slowly to her face while Starlia just stared at her curiously,  her friend would never this riled up unless it was something major.
