"The rogue escaped."

Both Roman and the seer stared at Nara like they just heard the biggest jokes of their lives.

"Repeat what you just said." Roman said in utter disbelief.

Noe Nara became confused. She knew Roman would get angry but she didn't know it would get to this extent.

She knows when Roman means something, he can go to any length to get it. And to worsen the whole issue for Nara, Roman is with the seer.

"What did you just say?" Roman growled at Nara. This time, louder.

"I said the rogue escaped." Nara confirmed.

"But that's impossible." The seer commented.

"Yeah, I am also thinking the same too." Nara seconded but earned a deadly glare from the two mighty creatures.

"Who did I hand over the rogue to? Is it not you? So what do you mean by "you were thinking the same thing?" Ran bombarded Nara with questions.
