Chapter 24

Katherine's POV

I can't believe my ears. Benjamin started saying everything but I couldn't hear anything. I only heard the part where he said Adam is ending long back. So the one with me was not Adam? Actually Adam was dead long back when me and Benjamin just met. That time the one becomes my friend and clearing the past misunderstanding was a clown.

I just stared at Benjamin who completed speaking and asked me whether I listened to him or not but I just nodded no slowly before fainting there on the floor.

After what feels like an eternity, I woke up. I woke up praying everything was a nightmare and me and Benjamin are a happy couple and Adam is still alive and my best friend but I realized everything is true when I saw myself in the hospital bed with Benjamin beside me.

"You killed him." I said crying as I can understand the truth but don't want to believe it but I also realized it's hurting Benjamin as his eyes got teary hearing my accusations.
