The throne room doors creaked open, and Marcus stepped inside, his armor dented and splattered with blood. His chest was heaving from the battle, but his eyes burned with triumph.

"We won," he announced, his voice echoing through the shattered hall. “The traitors are dead. The kingdom is yours again, my king.

Then his gaze dropped to the floor to Lucian’s ruined corpse, his chest a hollow cavity, his remaining eye staring blankly at the ceiling. A shudder ran through Marcus.

His eyes flicked to Alejandro and Yolanda.

They stood together, their son cradled between them, their faces streaked with blood and grief. They had won. They had taken back their throne. But the victory was hollow.

Marcus hesitated, then bowed low. "My king… my queen…"

Alejandro didn’t look at him. His eyes were distant, fixed on something far beyond the castle walls.

"Gather the council," he said, his voice steady despite the storm in his eyes. "We have a kingdom to rebuild."

Marcus nodded and turned to leave

  • Just an omega: The Lycan's mate.   Grief.

A month had passed since the throne was reclaimed. The castle walls, once shattered, now stood repaired stronger, fiercer, like the powerful Alejandro that ruled within them. The streets of the capital, once choked with the stench of betrayal, now bustled with life again. Markets reopened. Homes were rebuilt. The scars of war were healing. But the kingdom’s heart remained fractured. Alejandro stood at his war table, maps sprawled before him, marked with red ink where scouts had searched and found nothing. No trail. No whispers. No sign of the Bone Eaters. His claws dug into the wood. They couldn’t have vanished.Yolanda entered, their son cradled against her shoulder. The baby now named Leon, for the lion-hearted, had grown stronger, his tiny fingers curling around his mother’s braid. But his sister’s absence was a shadow over them all. "Still nothing?" she asked softly. Alejandro didn’t answer. His silence was answer enough. She exhaled, stepping closer. "The council is waiti

"Let's try this again," she rumbled, her voice layered with power. “WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER ?"Lucian coughed, grinning through the blood. "Still barking orders? You hit like a pup—" CRACK!Her fist smashed into his ribs hard enough to lift him off the ground. He crashed into the throne, gasping. Yolanda stalked forward, rolling her shoulders. "I can do this all day."She grabbed his shattered wrist and twisted.Lucian screamed, the sound echoing off the crumbling walls. "Does it hurt?" Yolanda purred, leaning close. "Good."She yanked him upright by his hair, forcing him to meet her glowing eyes. "You took my child." CRUNCH.Her knee met his gut. "You hurt her." A finger broke between her claws. "You took my daughter away from me!”Lucian wheezed, blood dripping from his lips.Yolanda slammed his face into the armrest of the throne. Bone crunched. When she pulled him back, his nose was flattened. "Beg” she whispered. Lucian spat blood. "Go to hel—" SLASH!Four new wounds opened

  • Just an omega: The Lycan's mate.   No more begging.

The throne room doors burst open with a thunderous crash. Alejandro stormed in first, his eyes burning with fury. Yolanda followed close behind slowly but dangerously, their baby clutched protectively in her arms. At the far end of the hall, Lucian lounged lazily on the stolen throne, his smirk sharp as a knife. "Well, well," he drawled, "If it isn't the fallen king and his breeding bitch." Alejandro's claws tore through his fingertips, his body trembling with barely-contained rage. "Where is my daughter?" Lucian took a slow sip of his wine, savoring the moment. "Somewhere... dark. Somewhere cold." His grin widened. "She cried for you at first. Very annoying till I used to tape to shut her up “Yolanda's grip on her baby tightened. Alejandro's bones began to crack, his body expanding as dark fur sprouted across his skin. Lucian's eyes lit up with excitement. "Oh yes! Show me your rage, brother! Let me see the mighty king—" A small, soft hand pressed against Alejandro's heaving

Yolanda moved through the wreckage, her claws still dripping with Clarice’s blood. The baby in her sling whimpered softly, his tiny fingers clutching her torn shirt. She ignored the pain in her ribs. Ignored the way her vision blurred at the edges. Only one thing mattered now. Lucian.A shadow moved in the corridor ahead. She tensed, until the scent hit her. Alejandro. He stepped into the light, his massive frame streaked with battle wounds. His red eyes burned with the same fire as hers. "Yolanda." His voice was a growl, rough with relief. He swallowed. But he could see it now, the toll the suffering had taken on her. The way her hands trembled, not from weakness, but from the rage barely contained beneath her skin. But when his eyes landed on the figure in the center of the room, his breath caught in his throat. Clarice.Or what was left of her. The once-beautiful queen was barely recognizable, her face a ruin of torn flesh, her body broken beyond repair. The walls were pain

  • Just an omega: The Lycan's mate.   No mercy.

Clarice’s smile widened as she saw her claws slid out. Then Clarice's fur rippled across her arms. Her bones cracked, her body started twisting and elongating until a massive Lycan stood where the “queen” had been. Her claws gleamed like polished daggers in the light.Yolanda didn’t wait. She lunged at her.Claws met claws in a spray of sparks. The force of the collision sent a vase shattering to the floor. The baby in Yolanda’s sling screamed, his tiny fists batting at the air. Clarice laughed, a guttural, snarling sound. "Pathetic," she hissed, swiping at Yolanda’s face. Yolanda dodged, but not fast enough. Razor-sharp claws sliced across her ribs, shredding fabric and flesh. Blood welled up, hot and slick. She gritted her teeth, refusing to make a sound. The baby’s cries turned frantic. Clarice’s nostrils flared. "He smells like fear." She lunged again, this time aiming for the sling. Yolanda twisted, taking the blow on her shoulder instead. Pain exploded down her arm, but she
