“Urg…oh yeah…”

Soft moans echoed through the car as Clara rocked the man beneath her at the back seat of her car, her hips swaying back and forth with pleasure.

“Oh, Liam, oh yeah…” she moaned louder, her finger digging into his chest while the hand feasted into his dark hair.

Liam cupped her boobs underneath her dress, his eyes rolling back with intense pleasure.

Buzz.

Her phone buzzed once at the front passenger seat, but that wasn't enough to stop the intense desire coursing through her soul.

Buzz.

The sound came again.

Liam hissed, his grip tightening around her waist as he rammed harder into her.

Clara moaned louder, until the ringing of her phone finally disrupted the moment.

“Fir fuck’s sake, who is that?” She cussed as she leaned back to grab the phone.

Their body was still intertwined, Liam's finger tracing her skin, until she saw the caller.

Her eyes widened, quickly scrambling off Liam into the seat next to him.

“Oh, fuck! I was just about to…”

“Shh! It’s my husband.”

Liam rolled his eyes but didn't say anything further.

“Wasn't he supposed to be in a meeting until late? Why is he already calling me?” She mumbled as she reached to answer the call.

Then, she noticed the text messages from her mom and quickly read through them.

Just before the call ended, she finally answered, “Hey, honey. Already done with your meeting?”

“Yeah, I finished early and decided to pick you up, but I was told you already left.”

Liam leaned in, placing kisses on her neck, but Clara shoved him off, pulling out her panties from underneath him.

She let out a small breathless chuckle, “Ah yeah,”

“I forgot an important document in the office that I had to pick.” She lied effortlessly.

“Okay.” Dante without the slightest hint of doubt, “Can you help me get some munchkin from that store on your way back?”

Clara's face twisted, realising she would have to really drive through the road leading back to the company.

The problem is, it is 50km from where she was in front of the Reed Luxury Group building.

“S–sure. I will get it. See you soon.”

When the call ended, she let out a sigh, quickly adjusting her dress and reaching for her heels.

Liam leaned again, trying to kiss her, but Clara pushed him off, “Get out of my car.”

“Why? I thought you were going to stay longer tonight.” Liam frowned.

Clara pushed her way to the front seat and grabbed an air freshener from the glove compartment, spraying it all around the car and on Liam.

“Babe, stop.” Liam groaned, finally stepping out as he wore his pants .

He walked to the front, leaning on the side of her door.

“Sorry, my husband is home and I have to get some munchkins from that lousy store by our office before I go home.”

Liam sighed, “You know we can have a stress-free life if you just divorce him, right.”

Clara rolled her eyes, “I told you never to bring up divorce. I am not going to leave the Mrs. Caldwell title for you.”

Before Liam could say another word, Clara had already started her car.

“Fine.” He mumbled, defeated. “So when do I see you?”

“I will be busy for a few days. I will visit the store when I'm free.” She replied before driving off.

Liam Reed ran a hand through his thick black hair as he watched the car disappear into the road.

“He’s just lucky to be born into that family. I am so much better than him in every other way.” He mumbled, his jaw tight.

By the time Cassandra returned home, Dante was already dozing off on the sofa in the living room.

“Honey, you’re finally home,” Dante mumbled as soon as Clara walked through the door.

He walked closer, taking her bag and the bag of munchkins in her other hand.

A big smile spread over Clara’s face as she stood on her toe and kissed his lip, “I’m sorry for keeping you waiting.”

“There was something important I had to finish before coming.” She explained, awkwardly stretching her shoulders like she was truly exhausted.

Dante placed the munchkins bag on the center table before he slipped behind her, gently massaging her shoulders as they walked to their room.

“Honey, you should take a break from work.” He suggested, “Even your workaholic sister took a break today.”

Clara turned sharply, facing him, “How would you know that?”

“I saw her at the bar. She was drunk out of her mind and didn't even recognise me so I took her home.” he explained, bending over to help Clara remove her shoe.

Relief washed over Clara’s face as she walked into their shared large walk in closet.

Dante followed behind her with her heels in hand.

A glass cabinet sat at the center of the room, rows of jewelleries filling every space. Clara stood before it, removing her jewelries and putting them in their rightful places. L

“Well, this project means a lot to you. I have to work extra hard to make sure Hart Interiors doesn't hinder your work progress.”

Behind her sat columns of wardrobes that sprawled across the whole room, each segment consisting of a different kind of outfits, from dinner dresses to corporate wear.

Atop the wardrobes sat dozens of emerald green shopping bags, all from one brand; Reed Luxury.

Dante walked behind her after dropping the shoe in its rack. He wrapped his hand gently around her waist.

“Thanks, honey. You're so thoughtful.” He whispered into her ear. “But I still don't want you over-exerting yourself.”

Clara giggled softly, “Fine. I will listen to you.”

Dante leaned in, placing playful kisses all over her neck, causing Clara to giggle loudly.

Just then he froze as his eyes caught a glimpse of a small reddish mark in her neck.

It looked like a hickey.

But he didn't do it.

Clara had clearly said she hated it over a year into their marriage and he had never done it again since then.

No…

Maybe it’s not…

“Honey,” Dante called softly, “What's this mark on your neck?”

Clara's eyes widened in horror as her hand flew to the place Dante touched.

Her chest tightened, ‘That idiot. I’m going to kill him.’

As soon as Cassandra disappeared from their sight, Dante shook Clara off, his fingers curling into fists. “It's not what I think it is, right?” Clara dropped her gaze, realizing Dante already clocked what happened. Anyone with common sense would. “It's just a necklace and bracelet,” she said, forcing a weak smile. “I don't know why she overreacted like—” “CLARA!” Dante bellowed, his eyes quickly turning bloodshot, startling her, “You have a fucking walk-in closet.”“Your jewelry collection is worth over $10+ million. Your bank card has no daily limit. You could buy more if you wanted to. Did you really need to take your sister's?” Dante was almost out of breath now. For almost a minute Clara stared blankly at him, her brows still raised in disbelief. Dante had never raised his voice at her before. That realization scared her. Her innocent lady facade was thinning away. She couldn't be angry now. Instead, she sniffed and quickly wiped beneath her eyes, even though no tears had fa

Dante let out a small sigh, shifting his gaze back on the road, “I wasn't sure before. But with your response, I’m certain.” Cassandra bit her lower lip, squeezing her eyes shut as she realized she had slipped up. “I was home when Grandma's chauffeur brought your things home. He told me he dropped you at your family home.” He explained genuinely this time, “When you slipped up earlier, I realized Clara was also there too.” Cassandra sighed, scratching the back of her head shyly. Dante's fingers subconsciously tightened around the steering, “As much as I hate to admit it, I feel like there is something between you two sisters that isn't as simple as I always believed it was.” Cassandra realized Dante already had his suspicions. Definitely not about the abortions, but at least he was smart enough to realise something wasn't right. “You’re right,” Cassandra admitted. She knew lying or pretending would only make him more suspicious. “Your wife indeed upset me. Not intentionally thou

I have made up my mind,” Cassandra sat up in the living room of Seraphina's high-rise apartment, arms crossed across her chest. “I am going to seduce Dante Caldwell.” The morning light poured into the room through the floor-to-ceiling glass walls, catching the faint red in her eyes. Seraphina handed Cassandra a cup of coffee before sinking into the sofa across from her.“Cassie, you know I always support everything you do because you are the logical one.” She leaned forward, “But you are not being very logical now and I have a feeling you are going to regret this in the future.” Cassandra took a sip of her coffee, the cup warm against her palm, “Last night, you said I should think about it.” She looked up, locking eyes with Seraphina. “I did and this is my conclusion.”“I don't give a fuck about logic anymore. And yes, I am letting my emotions take over my reasoning. But now that I think about it, maybe I should have done this sooner.” Cassandra paused, sucking in a sharp breath

Cassandra was still jewelry shopping with Eleanor when her phone buzzed with a call from Evelyn. She excused herself from Eleanor, walking toward the corner to answer the call.“Hey, Cassie, you don't even call home anymore unless we call first.” Evelyn said, her voice carrying sharply. Cassandra sighed, not having a response to that. In the past few weeks, the only contact she had with her Dad was to discuss the progress of the Horizon project. For her mom, communication was nonexistent unless whenever they met at the company. She had gotten used to that over the years so what was the need to overcomplicate things now that she had chosen to cut ties? “Fine, no need to answer that.” Evelyn managed to read the room, “Clara told us you went for an ultrasound test yesterday and the baby was doing very well.” Cassandra sighed. Of course, it was about the baby. She nodded like Evelyn could see her, “I guess.” “That's good. Come home for dinner today. I made your favourite creamy lob

  • My Sister's Husband: Surrogate For The CEO I Once Loved   Hangout With Grandma Caldwell

Cassandra stood in the lobby of Maison Élan Spa, her eyes taking in the polished marble, muted gold accents, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city as she waited for Eleanor. The building was large, but it was notorious for having very limited reservations and mostly ran strictly by subscription which made it hard to schedule an appointment even with your money. Cassandra sighed, “What's with the hype?” Just then, a lady with a manager badge walked up to her, a broad smile on her face, “You must be Madam Caldwell's guest, Ms. Hart.” Cassandra nodded gently, returning the smile. The lady led her into an elevator, traveling to the 6th floor of the building. As they stepped out, the air carried a faint floral scent, while quiet music played somewhere around the building. The lady led Cassandra to a private changing suite where three spa concierges were already waiting to help her ease into the environment. One staff collected her clothes while the other prepared a plush

Cassandra and Dante’s eyes flew wide as they stared into each other’s eyes, their lips still touching. For a moment, none of them seemed to know what to do.Cassandra’s chest rose and fell fast. Her lips were actually touching Dante's. In real life.It was unbelievable. Then Dante scrambled off, almost shoving her to the floor, but Cassandra eventually steadied herself. An awkward silence filled the space as they both stood upright, eyes still locked. Dante’s face had completely paled, his gaze mortified. Cassandra's fingers trembled by her sides. Her lips quivering slightly. Without saying a word, she turned around and started towards the door. “Stop!” A sound finally tore through Dante’s mouth. Cassandra's right leg froze above the floor. She looked down and realized she had just been about to step on a shard of the broken glass. She swallowed and extended her leg, crossing into her room without stepping on it. “I’ll clean this up…” she said, looking around the room for th
