I picked up her phone to check it.

What are you doing?? It is wrong. My soul said.

I know, but I am intrigued by her. She is hiding something and I need to know about it.

But why?? If she is hiding it, that means, she doesn't want you or anyone to know it. Why do you want to interfere in this?? Everyone is entitled to have some privacy don't pry into it. My soul scolded me.
