Chapter 25
Danica’s POV
I go to my room and grab a fresh set of clothes so that I can take a shower and wash out my blood matted hair that is now plastered to my scalp and face. I start the shower and I hiss as the hot spray hits my sore muscles and injured flesh. I know that this is one fight that I am not going to forget any time soon. I step out of the shower and dry off. It feels good to be clean again. I put on my pajamas and climb into my bed. I try so hard to fall asleep but my body and mind are just too restless for it to come. I have tossed and turned the whole time that I have been laying here and I just cannot get comfortable. So, I get up and decide to go down to the kitchen for a cup of herbal tea.
