Chapter 114: Time for the secret to be let out of the bag

Ian kept giving me curious glares as I kept trying to work things out with Steve. He was hopeless in negotiating, eventually my lawyer stepped in,

“Okay, this is supposed to be a negotiation and if your client isn’t willing to cooperate then I will be ending this today and scheduling a court date. My client has been more then willing to work with yours I think you need to have a chat with your client. Maybe we should take a short break and come back to this.”

I saw Steves lawyer give him a questionable look and nodded, “Yeah that’s a good idea.”

As we got up and walked out my lawyer said she was going to grab a coffee we needed to be back in 15 minutes. Ian grabbed my arm and pulled me off to the side,
