He gave me a suspicious look, but he did let me go. I backed up a few steps, showing him a calm face. I even put my hands up in the air showing I meant no harm.

One, two, three. I darted for the door again, faster this time.

Just like the last time, Cassar Salvaterre's arm grabbed hold of me. I started squirming, kicking and punching him as fast and as hard as I could. Considering he was holding down my arms, and my legs were very short, I wasn't doing much damage.

"I can't stay here!" I screamed at him, as he threw me onto the soft bed.

He stood over me with his hands on his hips. "Why?"

He was honestly asking. He was so stupid. I stood up on the bed so we were eye level.

"Because it's not my home. I don't live here." I explained.

"It could be though. If you stop your damn fighting." He groaned. Then I had an idea. Not a good idea, but an idea.

"You know what? Your right. This is a good place. A very nice place. But unfortunately I don't have my stuff. So I'm just going to run right
