I walked closer to where Georgina was! I look around but I can't anticipate what she is planning right now. No one is here, just the two of us. The corner of this 3rd floor is not yet fully opened and more space for lease.

"Why did you want to see me here?" I asked Georgina, but she smiled triumphantly, looking at me as if she was looking through my soul.

Georgina was Dwight's girlfriend when I appeared in their lives three years ago.

"To give you what you deserve!" She sneered, showing her white creepy teeth. Ever since Georgina came back, she has always put me on a show, putting me in a dangerous stunt. Dwight's parents, especially his father, hate me so much when they are surrounded by the media because of me. Their family is one of the top richest here in Los Angeles, but I never married Dwight because of their wealth. I married him because I love him so much. I even followed him in my college days. Dwight is not the only son of the Smith Group, but he is next in line if his father retires.

"What should I deserve, Georgina?" I asked again, but she laughed evilly. I look at her while she laughs, tapping her lips colored with thick red lipstick.

I know there is no any sense in meeting her here today and we can't talk properly as she will always provoke my limit. I calmed my nerves and turned my heels to leave when I heard a loud thud, alarming everyone. I am stunned, unable to move. Before I could digest everything, I heard a loud cry and screams echoing in the corner section of the mall.

I ran towards the sound and saw Georgina lying down on the second floor. I can't breathe looking at her down. The floor is too high for her to fall. I shivered, scared of what would happen to her. How did she fall? I keep on asking myself when a security guard calls me. I looked around and saw no one was on the floor beside me. I followed the guard unorganized.

Georgina was sent immediately to the hospital as the head of security held me in their office. I tried to call my best friend, but before I could even touch my phone I saw Dwight approaching in rage. His face darkened upon seeing me, clenching his fist.

"Dwight!" I called him, but he looked at me in disgust, darkening his face and gritting his teeth.

"I am sorry! I will take care of her." Dwight said to the officer, leaving his calling card. I stop him.

"Why are you sorry? I didn't do anything!" I uttered, confused. He didn't answer but pulled me out of that office, gripping my hands tightly. I can feel my wrist is already broken, but he still grips it tight, walking faster. I could hardly catch up with him and my legs feel tired and limping as he almost drags me. I tried to pull my hand back, but there was no use fighting back with his strength.

"Dwight, please! I didn't do anything. You are hurting me." I cried, struggling to follow him while pulling my hands.

He immediately stopped in his tracks, bumping my face on his hardened back. "Ouch!" I muttered, touching my nose. I feel like my nose is broken.

"Hurting? You don't know what hurt means Alison. Stop complaining! We will talk at home." He answered, pulling me harder this time, almost dangling as he dragged me to his car.

"Dwight!" I cried, falling to the ground.

"Shut up Alison!" He shouted, scaring me for the first time. This is the first time I saw him get mad like this. He will always punish me, but not yell scary like this. I can see a different aura on his face. His almost bulging big dark eyes and sharp facial gestures creep me out!

"I am sorry, Dwight, but I didn't do anything." I still cried, begging him to believe me. He pulls me with one force and throws me into the back seat of the car. I shivered, hugging myself inside the car as he drove faster, almost flying on the highway.

I haven't gotten back to my senses when we arrived home, but he immediately drags me out of the car, pulling me harshly. I stumbled on falling on my knees again but he didn't budge.

I felt my body freeze completely as I received a shattered glass with hot water splashing all over me and broken glasses cutting my skin.

"Is this how you will repay my family? I let you marry my son thought you will give us luck, but you are just the same as all the women he met." Bernard shouted, shaking with anger. I could see his veins almost pop on his face.

"I didn't do anything. I swear! She asked me to meet her -" Dwight cut me off by slapping my face. I'm completely dumbfounded. For the two years we were a couple, he never took my side, but I never received a hit from him, especially my face. He always took Georgina's side, even if it was full of lies, and now Georgina still wins. That slap is too much.

"Enough! You should be begging for forgiveness to spare you." Dwight shouted, furious, making me speechless.

"Dwight, I am your wife. You should take my side or just listen to me for once!" I cried desperately for his attention, but his face darkened, staring at my soul.

I was supposed to walk going to our room when Bernard almost collapsed in shock, looking at me furiously. His mother is also confused, looking at us.

"How dare you push a pregnant woman in broad daylight? I thought you were a gracious woman?" He shouted. I was still collecting myself when Dwight burst into anger, pushing me hard, stumbling on the ground with a loud thud. My body couldn't feel pain looking at him when I should be, but my heart aches so much!

"I will divorce you, Alison. I don't have a vicious wife!" He roared, choking me with his own hands.

I completely put down my guard off letting him choke me to death. My heart cried as I looked at the man I dearly loved choking me. At the same time, my love started to perish, as I can still see him in my darkening vision.
