78- Leonidas

The day that Persephone Aetos gave birth, the whole world stayed silent.

Leonidas was made to sit outside on the porch, the darkness making it impossible to make sense of anything because it seemed that the moon had fixed itself at their living room window, shining it's light only on her.

And particularly because of the fact there was no one sound from anywhere else, Leonidas could hear her screams louder than he had thought he would have to.

It pulled at his heart and squeezed, making every breath he took hurt as Circe and Kleopatra sat next to him, their presence seeming like they aimed to calm him down, which he was grateful for, but then after a while of shrieks and scream, he heard nothing.

The birds chirped again, the wind blowing soundly as if they were glad it was all over, before he heard the sound of someone wailing loudly.
