"It is usually customary for families to have their portraits being drawn after the wife delivers," Loukas said softly. "Or that is what I heard and since we- We might not, I thought that I should- Just have it done now," Then he chuckled. "Fani and I found it- Exceedingly hard to hand this one over because no matter how hard I tried to replicate it, I could not. Is it- Is it alright?"

Persephone felt the emotions choke her the more she looked at the painting, her eyes begging to tear up again though she fought the urge, turning to a silent Leonidas.

He was looking at the painting as well, all the humor gone from his face.

"Leonidas," Persephone hoped that this had not ruined his mood.

And when she saw him smile, she knew it did not. "You can have it."

Loukas stared wide eyed. "I-I can?"

"Honest?" Fani asked.

Leonidas nodded, "I already have enough things to remember her by. You both do not, so you can have it."

Fani already had her eyes glistening while Loukas tried to look unbothere
