Alexia's pov
My lips released a shuddering breath as Kayla dumped down a whole can of soda over my head before tossing the empty bottle down.
Bam!
Her legs connected with my face and I was sent flying back. I urged my wolf to shift, but as usual, she did not even speak back.
My classmates cheered and roared with laughter as Kayla matched right up to me and grabbed my hair before shoving my head face first to the wall and letting go of me so I could fall back on the ground again.
I coughed as I scrambled up on my hands and knees, seeing my own blood on the floor. I raise my eyes to meet the hate and pure disdain in my sister's eyes as she towered over me with her two friends standing at either side of her, smirking down evilly at me.
I sigh as Kayla grabbed me up again before I met with her eyes boring holes into mine.
"Admit it Alexia. You're pathetic… a useless pathetic loser… " with rhatz she lifted me off the ground and threw me across the floor where I went straight for a locker, breaking by nose in the process.
It's been like that since I was born. My father, the Beta just thought that I was a late spurt and might get my wolf later on in my early teens, but now, I was 18, and I couldn't even shift like my mates who were proudly full fledged werewolves.
You could say I was a human, and for someone who the daughter of the Beta, I was a disgrace, and of course, it didn't take my father long enough to disown me, and my rights as Beta was given to my younger sister Kayla who had a wolf, could shift and was the complete opposite of me.
She was beautiful, confident, a proud peacock, had many friends at school, got invited to a lot of oarties, had her own car from dad who adored and worshipped her, and she was dating the Alpha twins!
Her life was the perfect life you could almost want to envy, but I really wished they'd all leave me alone in peace.
Kayla would never cease to stop reminding me how worthless I was and how I would never get a mate and die alone.
The roars of laughter filled my ears as I got up and wiped the blood trickling down my nose, staggering on my two legs, hoping this was all over so I could go back home to my room in the basement and cry myself to sleep.
"You should just go live with the humans, Alexia. it's not like you're worth anything here… you have no place here."
Her words stung me, each word striking me to my chest so hard that I wanted to crouch there and cry, but I would never give her the satisfaction of seeing me vunerable before her.
Soon, the bell rang for school over, and everyone dispersed, leaving me standing there, sobbing with blood running down my nose.
Another day, another failure.
I grab my bag off the floor and walk out the school premises, seeing people In groups of two, three and four. I sigh heavily, feeling a painful sensation in my chest as I head back home, seeing Kayla get in her car with her friends before driving away, ensuring I literally ate dust before it zoomed off into the streets.
I stared up at the moon which was full and bright at this time of the night, and I felt a dreary feeling coursing through my veins as I take my usual lonely path down the forest.
It was the shortest route home and I took this route everyday, but today, we closed up late because we were cleaning the lab and now it was past 8, everyone had left for their homes and I was walking all alone on this empty path.
My shoes rustled and broke branches and dey leaves underneath my soles as I walked, and my hand tightened around the hand of my pack back as I walked quickly only to hear the howl of a wolf.
Gasping, I Increased my pace, staring round in horror when I heard another howl and realized just how close the werewolves were.
Please, I hope I hadn't run into rogues. I prayed to the moon goddess as I tore through thick bushes, jumping logs of wood just to ensure I left the forest in time.
I didn't stand a chance against a wolf, especially not at this time when it was a full moon night. That was when they were at their strongest and I definitely did not stand a chance against them.
Suddenly, just when I thought this night was all over and I would get home in no time, a wolf suddenly leaped high in the air and landed right Infront of me.
My pack back fell to the ground in shock, and my eyes widened with horror clear in them as it began walking towards me, slowly, cunningly, like a predator stalking its prey.
Except, this predator looked like it was ready to eat me alive. It was over 3 feet tall while bent over, it's fur was as black as the night with large, narrowed honey colored eyes boring holes into mine.
"No…no no no no… " I whispered and I try to make a run for it, but another wolf, similar to the first one barred my path, and I swallowed seeing them two of them, circling me, their predatory eyes running over my frame which trembled. The other had his upper lip curled over his teeth, exposing his sharp cannines which dripped of saliva.
I didn't know what to do at that point but start crying. I couldn't run because it was no use, and I couldn't fight back… that was pointless too. Was I really just going to stand here and get eaten alive by wolves?
Suddenly one growled, and with its hind limbs leaving the ground, It leaped right at me.
ALEXIA'S POV Life after Kayla's dismiss was the best life I had ever lived. I had peace of mind for the first time and it felt as if I would never have any enemy again. Peace could once again reign with no one having to be scared of any body coming to attack us. We all lived happily while my pregnancy grew more. And then, the day came, after a few painful days the pain hit me like never before. I remembered telling the midwife to just take the babies out and make it all end sometimes I really thought I would die. Then I heard the cry of my first child and I began to feel relieved. Just within a few moments, I heard another sound of my second baby. The prediction was indeed right. I was happy to have to kids. The midwives were still tending to the babies when I felt another kick in my stomach. This was was more painful than the kicks I had ever been kicked. I scr
Kayla was running as fast as she could, trying to escape from the alphas that were also trying their best to catch up with her. Kayla, instead of heading into the town, she headed into the wood, we she took different turns to confuse the alphas. For some time, the alphas tried not to get confused with the way Kayla was trying to confuse them but they soon found lost her completely as everywhere was dark and foggy. "Oh no! Where had she gone now?" Miles asked, as they stopped on their tracks. They looked south, west, east and north but she was not found amy where. "What do we do now? We can't just let her escape anyhow, we have to find her. She has crossed all limits by attacking Charm and Ciara." "But now that she is gone missing, where do you think we can find her?" Michael asked. “You should not look for me. I am here. If yo
This was definitely what they were expecting. Miles and Michael had seen Kayla, disguising as one of the Legendary Pack locals and when Miles and Michael sighted her, they decided to pretend as if they did not but just as they looked again to be sure if she was the person they saw. She had vanished into the thin air. Could it be that she had noticed that they had found her? Oh no! No one could believe that she was quick-witted. Okay now... Things were about to unfold. They would have to discuss this plan with some of the guards, and the family members so they could be ready for it. They summon them all to a private to while the party was going on outside. Marshall, Ciara, Jenna and Alexia was present there and some of the soldiers were they too. "I should start with Jenna. Jenna, whatever we said in the hall is only part of our plan. We know how dangerous the
ALEXIA'S POV Ignoring those staring at me, I smiled at some faces I could recognize. It was as if everyone's eyes were on me, some were staring at me with hatred and jealousy. I could tell they were the alpha's crushes and some were staring at me lovingly and affectionately. I just had to ignore this people so I would be able to breathe. Wait! Where was Miles? His seat was empty and also.... Michael? Where had they gone to? As I was busy worrying, thinking of where they could be, they both came into the hall together hand in hand. They were both wearing the same outfit and they both looked good together as they headed to their seats. They both held each other's hand as they walked in until they got to their seats. "Silence!" Miles raised his arm skywards, ordering everyone to keep mute and at once, silence engulfed the whole hall. "I welcome you all to the Bluehowl pack and I wish
ALEXIA'S POV "My lady." While I was still fuming from what the maids said, another maid approached me. "The jeweller and the designers are here and your presence is required." She said and bowed before leaving. I really didn't need another jewelries or new dresses but Marshal, she drew me to things all time. Wasn't the dress they got for me yesterday? They wouldn't want to tell me that I would be changing dresses every hours. I know I was being celebrated but it wasn't even my birthday. Moreover, this party was majorly a hunting party. Anyways, that was only if she knew about it. She would always want me to look significant and she never did anything without making other part. I sighed and went to the hall. "Luna Alexia, I am sorry if I have interrupted you from something but please, come have a look." Jenna showed me a set jewelry as I entered the hall. They looked beautiful but I wasn't a bit interested in them. I wasn't used to having several jewelries, I definitely w
Alexia's POV "Guess what!?" Miles asked me, pulling my cheeks. I shrugged my shoulder and fell back to the bed. I didn't know what he was talking about. He just said that out of the blues, so I did he expect me to know what it was? I shook my head slowly. "Okay tell me, what it is?" I asked him. "We will be hosting a hunting party in three days to celebrate your newly found power." He said and I stood up, looking at him shocked. Like seriously? "Do you like the idea?" Michael asked me while he was raking through the clothes in his wardrobe. I really love this... It's been a while we hosted a party in here. The last time we hosted party was three months ago when Ciara and Charm celebrated their marriage. It really was memorable and amazing. We all enjoyed ourselves, we had fun and we danced. I coukd remember that day so vividly, it was like something that happened yesterday. Normally, I didn't attend parties at all when I was with my father. I was always restricted so it
