LUAN’S POV.

I sat by the edge on the front row with Redon and Klevis by side. I buried my eyes into the altar as I waited patiently for Veronica to arrive. It was the D-day, the first step to achieve my plans. It was the day we both got to tie the knot as a couple.

“Why is she taking so much time?” Klevis whispered into my left ear.

“I'm as lost as you are. I've had someone go check up on her. I guess she would be brought here any minute from now.” I responded.

Soon, a young tall man, not to mascular so I already knew he wasn't one of my men walked up to where I sat. He was probably one of the event planners that was hired. He passed me and met Klevis. I turned to see what was going on between them but it was to no avail. After the young man was done delivering whatever message he came to deliver he left. “What was that all about?”
