Spilling the milk

Kira's POV

Ayla is one pain in the neck, she kept mumbling about Xander I was almost nlurting out his name. All through the ride home Declan tried to make jokes that sound really dry to me, listening to him makes my head ache. And it appears I am not the only one displeased. Ayla doesn't find him interesting either.

I tried to think of a way to get through to Xander without these two hawks watching me so closely getting to know.

"I can't believe all of this is happening at the same time. It must be a huge deal for you." Leila's voice cut into my thoughts.

Why won't she just shut up and stop trying so hard. I held up a faked smile that felt like it would tear my cheeks apart.

"Life does happen, thanks so much for being here." I said to her. Almost barfing as her hands held mine tightly.

"You know I would always be." She cooed and I could almost hear her evil thoughts.
