Chapter 3 The Shameless Man

Author: Nephrite
The man outside quickly caught on. He exchanged a look with his accomplice and said, “Bro, take it easy. The door can’t handle all this roughhousing.”

After that, their footsteps gradually faded away.

Elliot released Sophia and chuckled. “Thanks!”

Despite his overbearing attitude, his voice was pleasant and attractive.

But Sophia was in no mood to appreciate it. She tried to slap him, thinking, ‘Do you think just saying thank you is enough?’

He had pinched her waist several times earlier. He hadn’t done any serious harm, but she still felt insulted.

Someone else might have thought that something indecent was going on inside the stall.

The two of them started to fight in the cramped space.

Elliot hadn’t expected her to be so skilled, but she wasn’t as strong as him. He clamped down on her wrist again as she attempted to slap him once more.

He said coldly, “Hit me again. I won’t mind doing this for real!”

Sophia glared at him, “You wouldn’t mind, huh?! You have no shame!” She stepped on his foot as she spoke.

Elliot winced in pain and retracted his foot while he tightened his grip on her wrist. His voice was sinister as he said, “I’m way better than you! What woman would just waltz into the men’s restroom? Are you looking for a fling?”

She was so angry she could hardly breathe. “What makes you think I’m here for that? You must have been lost and wandering somewhere else when they were giving out brain cells!”

He sneered, “You’re either here for a fling, or you’re trying to seduce a man. In any case, it’s all very improper.”

Sophia was so frustrated that she almost lost her temper. She knew she couldn’t win an argument with him, and it was a waste of breath to continue. She nodded and smiled, “Fine, I’ll let you think what you want since you don’t have even a single brain cell. Let me go!”

She struggled to break free from his grip and tried to open the door to leave.

But just as she opened the door, she heard Sharon’s voice from outside. “Did you find her, Vince?”

Sophia paused for a second, then quickly backed up and closed the door. Her situation was truly unbearable now.

She couldn’t leave, but she couldn’t stay either.

She took a deep breath. She’d rather hide in the bathroom than deal with those two.

Elliot smirked when he figured out that the tide was turning. It seemed that she had hidden there to avoid someone as well! This was getting interesting.

The voices outside continued.

Vincent said, “I haven’t found her.”

Sharon replied, “Could she have already escaped?”

Vincent said, “Impossible. She can’t have gone far. I just checked downstairs. She should still be on this floor.”

“Let’s check the bathrooms then. You go to the men’s, and I’ll check the women’s.”

Sophia leaned against the door. She stopped cursing and stopped trying to leave.

Elliot stared at her cold, indifferent face. He noticed that she was very pretty, with fair, delicate skin, a pair of jet-black eyes, a cunning and lively expression, a cute little nose, and soft, small lips.

He suddenly remembered how good it felt to kiss her earlier.

He stepped back from her and reached out to open the door.

She grabbed his hand before he even touched the latch.

“What are you doing?” Sophia whispered.

Elliot replied, “Going out, of course!”

She growled angrily, “Why are you going out? Wait!”

“Why not?”

“Because you used me to help you just now,” she retorted.

He raised an eyebrow and didn’t say a word. Well, she did help him, so he reluctantly decided to return the favor.

At the same time, Vincent had entered the bathroom. Just like the group of men earlier, he checked each stall.

Elliot looked at her. His smile carried a mischievous tone, and he playfully leaned closer to her. “Women always say no, but their bodies tell a different story.”

He took Sophia in his arms and pressed her against the door. His large hands wreaked havoc on her body. His voice was low and suggestive. “Do you like it when I treat you like this? Hmm?”

The final ‘hmm’ was even more charged with implication.

At that moment, it seemed like the world came to a standstill. The man and the woman at the door were so scared they hardly dared to breathe. How dare this woman. How could she slap Kyle? They sneakily glanced at Kyle's reddened face, wishing they could disappear. They were afraid they'd face his wrath, too.Kyle also couldn't believe what he was seeing. This little drunkard in front of him wasn't speaking gently or acting cute, and instead of calling him brother, she slapped him. He was furious. At that moment, he had already thought of where to bury this woman. However, Sophia didn't seem to realize the seriousness of hitting someone. She suddenly jerked her wrist and broke free from the man's grasp. Whether it was because she used too much force or because she was drunk and couldn't control her strength, she stumbled and fell on her rear. This fall was solid, and she couldn't help but cry in pain, "Ow!"Tears streamed down her face.Kyle was bewildered for a moment. Sophia felt helpless. This man's schemes ran too deep. He didn't reveal anything useful. The two drank one glass after another from seven in the evening until ten at night. Sophia's head was spinning. She had been trying to limit herself, taking small sips each time. Unfortunately, her tolerance for alcohol was quite poor. Her gaze was unfocused, and the man opposite her seemed to blur into duplicates. She knew deep down that she was drunk. It was frustrating. When would her tolerance improve?"Are you deliberately trying to get me drunk to see me embarrass myself?" Kyle lounged carelessly. "I didn't know your alcohol tolerance was so poor."Sophia snorted softly in her heart. Ignorance was truly unbelievable. She even suspected that this man had seen her drunk before. Otherwise, why insist on drinking with her? She needed to control herself now; otherwise, her stingy husband at home would be infuriated. So she just slumped onto the table, motionless.Kyle chuckled. "Are you dru

Do you think I'm afraid of such a broken thing like you?"He knocked away the piece of porcelain in Sophia's hand, but she didn't pick it up. Instead, she said softly, "I know you're not afraid. As the top boss of the Netherworld Palace, what kind of woman can't you have? But it's not worth it to ruin the mood just to sleep with a woman, don't you think?"Kyle looked at her and smiled. Far from diminishing with Sophia's various rudeness, the interest in his eyes only intensified. He stretched out his long arm and grabbed Sophia's nape, pulling her closer. The two were close enough to hear each other breathe. There was a determined smile in his eyes. "I like smart girls."Sophia

Kylie smirked. "So, how else do you want me to repay you?"But Sophia couldn't shake the feeling that his smile seemed somewhat sinister.Kyle wasn't the kind of person to easily agree. Could it be true that she had saved him? After contemplating, she said, "For example, a substantial monetary reward, a direct increase in shares and equity, or at the very least, treating me to a meal would suffice.“But instead, you kidnapped me, restricted my movements, and now you're telling me it's repayment? Did I perhaps drown your son in a well in a past life, prompting you to repay me in such a unique way?"He was left bewildered by Sophia's rapid-fire words. What was this woman talking about? After a good while, he finally grasped the gist of her words. "Alright, let's go. I'll treat you to a meal."Sophia looked at him, surprised that he was so easy to persuade. She took advantage of the situation and added, "Then first, give back the phone to your lifesaving benefactor."Kyle replied,

Elliot searched the inside and out of the car. He indeed found a box of acupuncture needles tucked away in a corner. His wife always had a habit of carrying a box of acupuncture needles with her, not for self-defense, but for saving others. However, this box had yet to be opened, proving that the skills of the person they were dealing with surpassed hers.
