It All Started With A Deal...

"What are you talking about?" Vincenzo asked after a long silent contest between him and Ariana.

"The men who attacked are behind bars," She sighed heavily then leaned against the chair. Her hands went to her belly, rubbing it with a soft smile on her face.

"My heart sank when I heard the news about you being in the hospital, my love."Ariana muttered, her hands were still rubbing her tummy but one could see the sadness in her eyes.

"Come here," Vincenzo said with a worried look on his face. He won't forgive himself if anything happened to her.

And the last thing he wanted at this moment was for her to be sad.

Ariana glanced at him then stood up from the chair she sat on. She slowly walked towards him and sat on the bed.

"Look here, Ariana. There's nothing for you to be sad about. I love you and that's the one thing you should know." He cupped his hands around her cheeks.

Ariana stared into his eyes for a while then nodded.

"I'll stay strong," She smiled. She held his hands for a while
