Chapter 9: Blackmail Is Thicker Than Water

"Bada**. Drinks on the house!" Bonnie shouted and the whole bar cheered. Red came back behind the bar, and soon we were sharing a round with the whole MC.

Moments later, a voice from the doorway asked, "Is this bar for bikers only, or can anyone drink here?" A tall, angular guy wearing a suit. Pale with dark, slicked-back hair, he didn't look much older than me. His eyebrows had a strong arch that gave him a menacing look, even with a neutral expression.

"Non-bikers are welcome," Bonnie said. "Come in."

"Fantastic," he replied as he stepped inside. He took a seat near us at the bar. "Might I trouble you for a margarita?" He asked Red. "No salt. And one of those festive little umbrellas if you have any."

Red smirked. "One 'festive' margarita comin' up."

"I'm looking for a Bonnie Black," the guy said.

"You've found her," Bonnie replied.

"Allow me to introduce myself," he said. "My name is Madoc. I'm sometimes called Madoc 'the Mouth.' Perhaps you've heard of me?"
