After my conversation with Rick, I received some pictures of my baby from him.I am truly grateful to Rick for helping me because no one in that Pack would dare do something against Alpha's liking including my parents.

They don't want to hear anything about me was what Rick told me.I would be lying to say if it didn't break my heart.I loved them like my own parents. But I understand, they lost their daughter because of me.If they hate me for it, then I will happily accept it.

Whispers wafted around in the air, the colleagues started to fix their hair, some did a full on outfit check to each other.

What's happening? Is someone coming? Alpha Kane?

Understandable.He is handsome.

I continue to feed the three years old in my lap who I chased for at least ten minutes to get him to eat.

"Yes, Good boy" I coe at him while gently running my fingers through his hair.

"Hey, Luna Christine is here for a visit" One of my colleagues nudged me in the shoulder.I looked up at her with a frown.

Elysia- I was playing with Ian when a knock at my door stole my attention. “Come in,” I say, looking at the door. Zion walks into the room quietly, a maid following behind with a trolley. On it are plates with freshly cooked meals. “Let's have lunch together,” Zion says, grabbing a chair to sit beside the bed. The maid sets us a plate each and takes Ian from me to the other room. “It looks delicious,” I say, cutting the awkward tension before taking a spoonful of egg-fried rice. We both eat in silence until he speaks quietly. “I talked to Drax. He is stubborn” I contemplate whether to voice out my concern or not. “I told him to come visit you but he still hasn't” He sighed heavily. “It's over then I guess?” I whisper, my voice heavy with sadness. “He might not be the best but he knows to soothe my heart. I never wanted us to become like this” I mumble. “What happened that night… It shouldn't have” I add quietly. “I'm sorry Elysia. It's my fault. I was selfish” Zion says

Drax PovI stride in the hospital, only stopping at the reception and asking for Elysia.“Room 104—My feet moved before my thoughts could catch up. I only stop when I see Zion with Ian in the Hallway, outside her room.A nurse walks out from the room. Zion nods at her before stepping in the room. As the nurse walks in my direction, I stop her.“How is she? Elysia?” I ask.“Her vitals are normal. No serious damage to her lungs but light burns on her back. She will heal normally like humans. You can see her. She is up” She informs then excuses herself. Without her wolf to heal her, the pain must have been terrible. I gulp, contemplating whether to see her or not.I walk slowly towards the door. The glass window in the door gives a glimpse of the inside.Zion is sitting on the stool next to the bed.She is awake, looking at them both.My heart grows heavy. Had I just stayed in the room then none of this would've happened. I could have prevent it.Zion moves his fingers to caress her fa

I bring it close, checking to see if it's actually Drax. A part of me hopes that it's not. The man next to her is someone else, someone with similar features as Drax, but it's impossible when his face is so clear in the pictures. Why is he with Zion's mate? The more I look at it, the more my head throbs with questions. The sound of footsteps wafts into my ears. Startled, I stack the pictures back behind the frame. Ian tries to reach for the frame in my hand, dropping his own toy and wanting this one instead.“Elysia?”I freeze, looking over to the door. Zion, clad in a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants, stood at the door frame, looking at me with uncertainty.I get up and notice the way his gaze hardens.“What are you doing here?” He asks, voice sharp as he crosses the distance between us. I gulp, clutching onto the frame.“The door was open and curiosity got the best of me. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have invaded—I stop when he takes the frame from my hands.“Did you see it?” He asks. I

Returning to the Zion's Pack wasn't as bad as I had thought. This place is peaceful, filled with people that I don't have to argue with, or disregarded just for being a female.I walk through the garden, admiring the beautiful flowers and plants, the beauty and its calmness provide a sense of inner peace I crave.A soft thud of footfalls wafts through the comfortable silence. I look over, my eyes flicking to Zion.Clad in a black t-shirt, white pants and hair brushed back, just letting a small strand of hair hover on his forehead.Down in his arms is my baby Ian, comfortable like it's his favorite place from now on.The natural hold he has on my baby is something that sends a pleasing tingle in my stomach. One I couldn't acknowledge, not now..Not ever.“Hi” He greets softly, “ I hope you don't mind me hanging around Ian— He is just so adorable. I didn't realize for how long I had him”I shake my head, smiling softly. “It's completely alright with me. I needed some fresh air anyway”H

A month has passed ever since that man entered our life like a tsunami.A month since Xander disappeared with him.Thirty days of waiting and hoping but he never came back.My heart is still crushing under the weight of guilt, that I stupidly let him do something so risky. My Pack is doing fine. Everything is running smoothly. After what happened that day, they believe it's better to let me lead the Pack as long as I keep them safe.I have wanted them to listen and now when they finally are…I am still hollow from the inside.I lost my wolf before but now I can feel the loss physically.Like I lost warmth.“Elysia!” A voice so cheerful, contrary to my thoughts, rings through my ears.I leave the plant on the mud, and get up to my feet to spot Ciara jogging enthusiastically towards me.“Look! Look at that!” She stops a step away from me while showing her hands.I frown, not understanding what's so different about her hand.“It's pretty, isn't it?” She beams, jumping lightly with happiness her

A loud howl full of agony ripples through the air, contrary to the abnormally quiet dining Hall.As if it was the first reaction of the given threat by the man claimed Dark Faerie, a smirk takes over his features.“Oh Wouldn't you like to take a look outside?” He suggests gravelly. With a hand on my chest and another holding Xander, I walk out of the dining Hall.As I open the double doors of the mansion, the noises become more loud.Whimpers, howls, and screams fill my ears.My legs move fast to the main gates, the voices so heart wrenching as though something horrible is happening.I step out, eyes falling on the guards on the ground, down on their knees as painful howls leave their mouth.Their eyes pitch black with fresh tears rolling down their faces.“Hey!” I grab his arm and shook him but he only flinched, yanking my hand with such force that I almost stumbled. I watch in horror as he turns away before running straight into the wall.He still attempts to go through it.I gulp, clut
