Chapter 1

I was sitting on a stool on the front bar while slowly enjoying the loud and hyped beat of music inside the club that I was in. Normally, I would go with my plastic circle of friends but right now I just decided to be alone. Well, I just wanted to.

When I was about to order a drink for myself, I felt a vibration on my hand so I looked for my phone, only to see the old man calling. "What do you need, dad?"

"Where are you, Adeline? Wala ka na naman dito sa bahay! And why is it loud on your background?" I never really cared if I could hear him or what, I'm lazy enough not to go outside to talk to him so I decided to stay seated.

"I'm in a club! What do you need? One tequila, please," I said. I continued ordering a drink for myself while still talking to him.

"Naglalasing ka na naman? I'm checking on you, young lady. I don't need a reason to call my own daughter," he answered with full authority. Too bad, hindi ako gano'n kadaling nasisindak. I just rolled my eyes and answered.

"Of course, you're checking kung humihinga pa ba ang tagapagmana ng mga ari-arian mo. Don't worry, I won't die that easily," I exclaimed. That's the only thing he worries about when it comes to me, because I'm his only daughter. I just drank the tequila straight and ended the call. Just when I was supposed to walk out of the bar, I saw a man who just sat one seat away from me.

"One shot of Scott, please?" I looked at him and smirked. My, my, what a lucky night. The guy who sat almost beside me was familiar. Of course he is, I've been dreaming of him on my bed for a while now.

"Hi, are you an equation? Don't mind me, I just want to add you on my bed," I giggled. That was a nice joke, by the way. He looked at my way but I just smiled flirtatiously.

"Hindi ako bayaran," what? My eyebrows met because of what he said. May sinabi ba 'kong bayaran siya? I never said it, right?

"I think you're misinterpreting me, billionaire. Don't you want to play with me tonight?" He chuckled lowly, making me bite my lower lip. Kahit pagtawa niya ay sobrang nakakaakit. Gosh, the idea of him as one of my toys is exciting me.

"I'm sorry but I'm not into games," he stated. I rolled my eyes and watched him on my seat. I chuckled a little when I saw him glaring at his shot.

"Hindi mo maiinom 'yan sa pagtitig lang, can I help you? Maybe I drink it then you taste it on my mouth?" I was shocked when his glare from the shot glass slowly pointed straight into my face. Is he angry because of what I said?

"Excuse me?" He looked mad. Is he mad? I don't know, well I think he's just scaring me.

"Come on! You're no fun, seriously? Stop acting like an oldie, you're literally like months older than me." I said as I walked near him. When I was on his side, I slowly caressed his arm that's on the table as I smirk.

"I'm sorry, miss but as of the moment, I'm four years older than you." My smirk faded when he removed his resting hand on the table. I sighed, losing my coolness.

"Well, don't you want to play with me? Stop being such a boring, will you?" He was about to answer me but suddenly, his phone rang. He looked at me with all seriousness as he drank the shot.

"Well, looks like there's no playing with a boring man for tonight," he said after his shot. He then left a bill before walking out, answering the call.

"Did he just leave me?" I closed my eyes tightly. God, why can't he just fall for it? That billionaire! I swear I will have him wrapped on my fingers.

"Adeline? Is that you?" I turned around and saw some of the people on my circle. Gosh, the plasticity is really on the air. I just gave them a fake smile before I walked out of the loud club. My night is ruined, I didn't get what I want.

As I drove at the house, I can't help thinking of the man who sat beside me earlier. I know of him, of course. He's the only Kaius Ramirez, a billionaire. Yeah, I like him, he has an impeccable face and body, who wouldn't? Too bad I didn't have for the night. I sighed when my car entered our house and got confused when I saw an unknown car.

"Who's here for the night? May bisita na naman ba ang tanda?" I asked a maid when she went near me. I'm not familiar with the car so I just asked.

"Ma'am, diretso raw po kayo sa living room, may ipapakilala raw po ang daddy niyo," the maid answered. May ipapakilala? Who would it be? Maybe another guy na naman that he wants me to date. Gosh, all the time old man. I rolled my eyes and directly walked towards the living room.

"Who would it be this time, dad?!" I shouted while walking. "I mean, I'm not complaining since you get guys who's handsome enough for me, but don't expect me to like him romantically!"

"Tone down your voice, Adeline. Nakakahiya sa bisita," aniya. I rolled my eyes as I walked nearer, as if naman na he could tell me what to do.

"So are you like, shy on your visitor or something?" As I turned to enter the living room, I was lost of words and stoned when I saw the guy who's standing on the living room of my house.

"Good thing you chose to go home early. God Adeline, lagi na lang talaga, ang sakit mo sa ulo. Buti naman at naisipan mo ring kahit sa isang araw lang ay magpakatino," my dad kept on speaking but I was too stunned to speak. The guy was tall, formal and familiar.

"Yeah.. I think you just made one of the right things ever, dad." I smirked, still looking at the guy.
