As Freddy began to walk away, I followed him, my chest pounding uncontrollably in my chest.
We walked up the stairs until we were right on the second floor with my room a couple steps in front.
He turned to face me. Despite the urge to fall on my knees and try to plead my way out of the terrible act of listening to his conversation with his father, I tried to maintain a straight expression.
Without a single word, he stared me down like he too was finding it difficult to come up with a first word, or maybe, he was contemplating on how best to rebuke me.
I couldn't stare him back in the eyes, maybe I would have been able to tell what his thoughts were.
Exhaling sharply, he turned and began walking up the stairs.
I thought about heading straight for my room, but instead, I followed him.
"Stop, Freddy. Maybe we could talk."
He didn't reply, just kept going.
He got to his room and let himself in, banging the door right in my face.
"Freddy! I am sorry for listening to your conversation. I didn't hear a lot, I promise," I spoke against the door, pushing it hard.
"Come in," I heard him call out from inside.
Swallowing, I clicked the handle of the door open and slowly walked inside, embarrassed that I had been screaming when the door was not even locked.
"Hi," he breathed out, sprawled against his bed, bare-chested, his loose pants drawn down to his thighs, revealing his bulk stretching through the material of his boxers.
I fought to keep my gaze focused on his face.
"I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't know you were in there."
"You've apologized. It wasn't something you didn't know or maybe wouldn't find out going forward. Just to not make it a big deal," he replied, a bit defensive.
"Okay, then," I stuttered, turning immediately to leave.
I was going to talk about us, but I didn't trust the way I was feeling inside — hot, loose, hungry for something that I should no longer taste.
"Hold on."
I froze in position, adjusting the straps of my bag against my shoulders, my fingers twitching with anxiety.
"Yes?" I answered, turning to face him again, my eyes betraying me as they travelled down to his waist, sizing his balls with imaginations of them bobbling in my mouth filling the back of my mind.
"How is it going? Why haven't you opted out since then?"
It took me a while to understand what the words he spoke meant. My thoughts were all over the place, until I finally got it.
"It's a lot more than you know," I replied, pulling my gaze away from him.
"Then, tell me. Why won't you tell me?"
"Freddy, it's not something talking about would easily change," I stuttered, feeling like the mess I was — a literal mess of a two years loveless marriage.
"I want to know though," he spoke again, standing tall in front of me, his eyes searching mine for any information he could find in them.
I wondered why he was suddenly this interested in my marriage with Eddy. The thought that this attitude could also be from his resentment of his brother and not even the desire to help me filling my head.
I shook my head vigorously, sifting the thoughts to the back of the pile.
"Why won't you tell me?" he asked, grabbing my shoulders. My entire body stiffened. Freddy shouldn't have touched me in this state. "Why won't you allow me help you?"
"How?" I thundered, breaking away from his grasp, and forcing myself to look up at his face.
"Why?"
His face was laced with surprise, so evident that his hands were still hung in the air after I detached myself from his grip.
But I didn't care. Maybe, it was the right time to talk about what happened to us and how it was his fault that I was now trapped.
"You kept your family a secret from me for years. And even when you watched me get married off to your elder brother, you didn't tell me the truth," I sniffled, "Only for you to shamelessly blame me for leaving you and act like I was the most brutal offender to exist."
"Lola..."
"Put all the excuses you have on the table and none would be able to justify keeping me in the dark about such an important matter for that long."
"I cut ties with them."
"And now, you're back?"
"I have a mission."
"To fight your brother over a business he had given his entire existence to while you lived in denial of your responsibilities?"
The words escaped my mouth before I was able to stop them, leaving me in a painful awe of how supportive I was of Eddy.
"I promise you, you know nothing," he barked back, his voice hard and angry, I shuddered in shock.
"Look, Lola," he spoke, his tone softening as he grabbed my arm.
"Don't take it if you don't want to. Watch out for yourself even if you have to be selfish about it," he finished, staring me hard in the eye.
I could see a fine glint of sadness in his eyes, the sadness that comes from regret and a fierce desire to live right.
I couldn't say anything because his lips came down on mine, ravaging with a burning impatience, his hands sloping down to my waist as he guarded me more into him.
For the first few seconds, I was lost in the shock of the suddenness of everything, but then I allowed myself to sink deeper into the shamelessness of it all.
My bag dropped with a soft thud against the floor, so as my self-reservation.
My fingers played for a moment against his back before trailing down to his groins.
Letting out a soft gasp the moment my palms caught his balls, I moaned to the dirty thoughts in my head.
"I see you miss me," he gasped, staring me dead in the eyes.
"Don't be an assh*le, Freddy," I muttered, going down on his neck with my tongue, my hand still massaging his balls hard.
"One second," he said, pushing my head off himself. Then, in an instant, he drew his pants down while smiling mischievously at me.
"Get it if you want it," he spoke breathily.
I swallowed, fighting the urge to instantly take his cock in my mouth, but my hands moved, pushing him against the bed, and in that moment, I knew there was no turning back.

LOLAIt was an unusually chilly morning as I rode down town, my heart thumping heavily, every little sound causing me to jerk over.I didn't know how it happened, but the truth remains that it happened.I wasn't supposed to stay out last night, especially without informing Eddy. The only few times I had stayed out since my marriage were during my visits to my parents, which had only happened twice in two years — once with Eddy's permission, the other without and I paid dearly for it.Pulling into the compound, my stomach twisted painfully as I packed well in the garage. It took a long while before I found the courage to get out of the car. When I finally did, my legs felt too weak to walk the distance to the house.Earlier, I had rehearsed questions Eddy could possibly ask me, and the most appropriate replies I should give. I haven't even gone in, yet my hands were already shaky behind me.I almost tripped when my phone started to vibrate inside my bag. Sighing, I dug it out with trem
CONNORA warmth, sudden and familiar, hit my face, forcing me to turn over.Blindly, I searched around my lower body for the sheets, and when I had grabbed it, I tried pulling it over my shoulders, but the other end of it wouldn't bulge.Groaning, I stretched against the bed, my knuckles colliding mercilessly with the bedframe to produce a striking sound. The pain spread mercilessly across my arm, forcing me to swallow the hard ball of urge to change my bed to a more modern style. With my eyes still shut, I tried rolling over to the other side of the bed, but crashed against an obstruction. My brain processed it quickly, noting that I wasn't alone on the bed, but before I could make out who the company was and why they were there, I was distracted by a heaviness around my waist. It was so distinct and full, my eyes flung open, my fingers working frantically to push the sheets away from my body, my thoughts roaming hard, fearing the worst possible outcome. My breathing dropped. My body

I hope we give this our best as the profession has taught us to uphold," I added, already putting away my documents and glasses."Goodnight, then," I said finally, waiting a little longer until everyone had dropped out of the call. The doorbell dinged at the same time I pushed the button of my monitor off.I wasn't expecting anyone, so I was a bit surprised, but then again, it could be security. The loud ring of the door bell blared across the sitting room again as I made my way towards the door from my home office.Punching the door monitor to live, the face that stared back at me got my knees buckling weakly int
LOLAI had happily groveled at dinner earlier, not caring about Eddy's words or how much it might mean.I was going to start baking again, and there was nothing that could go wrong.Sitting out on the shelter closest to the pool behind the compound, I couldn't contain my joy, so I decided to text Connor — the very person that assured me that Eddy would change. That day, he kept emphasizing on it like he could actually control Eddy's attitude towards me. I had taken his words with a pinch of salt, but it started to play out right in front of me."I can't believe it, Connor," I screamed into the receiver, quivering as I recalled that I was still within Eddy Langford's property, and he could be listening on my call."Did something happen to you? Calm down, okay?"He sounded tired, like he had just woken up or had been buried in work for a long time."Where are you?" I asked, unable to hide the excitement that laced my voice."I decided to go home today. How did you know?""I don't know a

Bulky. Too tight. Top part too revealing. To crown it all, I detested red for clothes, but the fitting assistant had called it "stunning" and Eddy had nodded in agreement. Now, standing in the quiet living room of our home in Malibu in that same dress, my body feeling not like mine, I waited for Ed
