"Remove all the sharp equipment and lock her in the room," Satan instructed Jule before walking downstairs with a stone face.

Jule looked at the closed door and sighed with pity. She was in no place to sympathize with Brianna or show her empathy. The world of rich people was different from hers, and she could never understand them.

Brianna gazed out of the bright window with her dark, empty eyes. Her thin pale fingers slightly rubbed the bandage on her neck. Satan's last words reverberated in her ears like an enchantment.

"Brianna, you are now part of the Calascione family. You are not allowed to hurt your body. A Calascione can never be weak. So, stop hurting yourself because I have promised to act according to what you say. I have l already signed the paper you want me to. Please."

Brianna sighed. She was shocked by his words and could not believe her ears. But the seriousness and coldness in his voice told her to trust him for this one time.
