Chapter 10

I woke up early today. I smile without showing my teeth when I pulled the navy blue heavy curtains away from blocking the light outside the window. I closed my eyes as I welcomed the warmth of the morning sun. The sky is balmy and cloudless. I opened my eyes again and reached for my backpack. It's seven o'clock in the morning and it's time for me to go to school. 

I looked at the mirror and stare at myself. As usual, nanghiram na naman ako kay Erin ng damit. Hindi ako nakakuha ng damit ko kahapon kaya naman kahit pa nahihiya na talaga ako ay nanghiram ulit ako kay Erin. 

I'm wearing a white printed oversized t-shirt with a picture of Winona Ryder while she's smoking. I tucked the t-shirt inside of Erin's wide baby blue jeans then I put a belt and I wear my white sneakers.
