Chapter 15

           Sometime in the middle of the night, Ivy woke up, she couldn’t sleep. She got out of bed and went to the window. The moon was high, so it was early in the morning. She thought about going for a walk to clear her head.

           Looking back at Nick, she sighed. She put on her shoes and grabbed one of Nick’s hoodies, and headed out the door. She wasn’t going to go far, just a small walk.

           Walking down the stairs, Ivy was afraid but she forced herself to leave the house. It was still snowing, but she didn’t mind it too much. It wasn’t cold to her. She liked the snow either way. Closing the door, she rubbed her hands together, it was cold enough she could see her breath. She wasn’t sure where she would go, she would let her feet lead her walk. Closing her eyes, she let her mind wander.<
