RAVEN'S POV

When I opened my eyes, everything was quiet and cold. My body was still in pain and my head pounding. It was like a thousand voices were ringing in my head— the cries of the damned. Those I sent to an early grave for being an incompetent Alpha

A blanket was over me, covering my skin. I blinked slowly, confused. Then I noticed the warmth beside me.

A body.

I turned my head and my breath caught in my throat. It was Damien.

What the hell was he doing so close to me?

He was lying next to me on his side, facing me. His eyes were half-open, watching me like he’d been waiting for me to wake up. His dark hair was messy, and there were bruises along his jaw and collarbone.

What the hell?” I screamed, moving away.

Was he trying to take advantage of me?

I pulled the blanket tighter around me, wrapping it over my chest. My face flushed with heat, but Damien didn’t look away.

If I wasn't do weak I would have killed him.

“You’re awake,” he said, sitting up.

My brows furrowed. “Wha

Raven’s POVI just stared at him. My mouth was open, but no words came out. My mind was frozen. What the hell was Draven doing here? Better question, how did he get here?He was right there, standing just a few steps away, looking at me like I was the only thing that mattered in the world. I blinked several times, thinking maybe my mind was playing tricks on me. But no. It was him.I must have looked like an idiot, just gaping at him, because his lips curved slightly, almost like he was relieved to see me alive. He stepped forward. “Rowan…” He called, hos voice very low. I swallowed hard, still not moving. “What… what are you doing here?” I asked through telepathy. He turned his eyes to the sentinel blocking the entrance. “Leave us.”The sentinel didn’t move. “I have orders to stay—”“That wasn’t a request,” Draven said, his voice sharper now, his voice full of authority. But the man just folded his arms. “Orders are orders.”Draven’s jaw tightened. • She's the Alpha    The bait

AUTHOR’S POVRaven’s body was dragged across the muddy ground by the Lycans. Her fur was soaked with blood and mud. Every tug on her legs sent fresh pain through her body, but she didn’t cry out. She just stared blankly at the trees above, letting the dull ache swallow her whole. They pulled her like she was a sack of meat, laughing among themselves, stepping over the dead like they were nothing.“Damn, this one’s heavy,” one of them grunted, yanking harder.“I thought alphas were meant to be strong. This one’s all bones now,” another sneered.Raven’s body shifted slightly in their grip, but she still didn’t move. She needed to hold onto the wolf form for as long as she could. She couldn’t let them know she was a woman.“He’s still in wolf form,” a third one said, walking beside her. “Why hasn’t he changed back yet?”“Maybe he’s too injured,” the first replied.“Nah,” another one added, “I think he’s just stubborn. Wants to prove that he is still the Alpha.”“Or maybe he’s ashamed to

  • She's the Alpha    The last war.

RAVEN’S POV. The fight began almost immediately even if it wasn't a fair fight. I don’t know how we held out for so long for a while. Maybe it was fear or maybe it was pride. Or maybe it was just raw, blind desperation. But we didn’t give up—We dared not. Bodies were dropping around us and none of us wanted to be the next body dropped in the dirt so we fought harder. I had never seen blood like that before. It painted the grass red, soaked into the earth, ran down our arms, our faces. There was no time to search for loved ones or check who was alive or not. Every second was a struggle for survival. I fought through the Lycans using all the strength I could find but that wasn't enough. The more we fought the more our people died. and I had drained every strength I had. I tried everything I could. I tried to regroup but there was no one left to regroup. We had only few people left and there were too many of them. And the Lycans kept coming without giving us breathing space. They m

  • She's the Alpha    Beneath the howl

RAVEN’S POVWe had been feeding the Gamma lies for days now. And gods, I liked and hated it at the same time. On one hand we could control the Lycans movement which means that our victory was sure but on the other hand it wasn't the best idea letting a traitor walk among you. Every morning, I would give him little tasks. Bits of information we wanted the Lycans to hear. Nothing big, nothing that would draw suspicion — just enough to make him feel safe. Sometimes, he questioned things but after much briefing from Damien, he got back on board. Fool. I watched him pass the fake updates to his contacts, confident like he was doing something clever behind our backs. It made me sick. I tried not to look at him much. Every time I did, the rage boiled right under my skin. How had I not seen it? How had I missed the signs? He was one of ours. A leader. A brother. I trusted him. And he betrayed us. For what?Every night, I’d sit alone in my tent, my hands clenched and my jaw locked. My wol
