Strawberries and Cigarettes

"I didn't have an affair, Drake... I swear I didn't," Lily cried out to the cold and ruthless man standing before her. 

"I'm aborting that bastard in you," Drake Bell said mercilessly and shouted, "guards!" 

At once, two burly looking guards walked in, "get her inside the car, we are heading to the hospital." After saying this, he walked out. 

"Drake....Drake..." Lily shouted with a breaking heart. Tears were rushing heavily down her face. This was her husband, the man she had loved for many years, she had been obedient and submissive to him and his family hoping that one day, his cold heart will melt. She was well aware that he never loved her but she didn't believe that he will be willing to kill their baby. 

The baby inside of her was was for her husband as she never had any affair with anyone outside of their marriage, yet he accused of her having an affair and even wanted to abort their baby. 

Lily began to struggle from the guard's firm grip, "let me be... Leave me...I'm not aborting my baby," she shouted heartbreakingly and used all her strength in an attempt to free herself but the men were way stronger than her. 

In a few seconds, she had been stuffed inside the guard's car. Drake Bell's car lead the guard's car to the hospital. As soon as both cars parked, Drake's driver stepped down quickly and opened the door for him. 

Stepping down from the Lamborghini, all eyes set on him, he was extremely popular for his wealth plus he had a beauty like that of a goddess. He was hot and was many ladies dream man. He had million of followers on the internet and he was rarely seen in public. He was the richest man in the continent. 

A few people around already brought their phone to take pictures of him, his guards attempted to stop them but he told them not to bother. As a public figure, he was already used to being on camera whenever he appears in public. 

Lily was dragged out of the guard's car by the guards and was made to follow after Drake Bell, who was walking ahead smartly and magnificently. He exudes the nobility of a king but at the same time, his aura was a dangerous one. His handsome face was impossible to behold. 

Whereas, as Lily was being dragged behind him, Lily kept sobbing quietly. She knew that no matter how she tried to fight this from happening, it will still happen. Drake Bell was very powerful and he gets whatever he wants. Lily was too small to fight a man like Drake Bell. 

Lily soon find herself in the operation room where a surgical abortion was about to be performed on her. 

Drake Bell walked in and said to her, "fighting at this point is useless, I highly advise you corporate with the doctor. If they complain you struggle with them, I'll make this harder for you." 

As he turned to leave, Lily rushed to him and knelt before him, holding his pant trouser with heavy tears falling off her swollen face, "you are my husband, how can you do this to me? We have been married for five years and I've never made friend with any man talkless of having an affair." 

He yanked her hand off his trouser and said angrily, "woman!" His hard voice almost sent her shivering heart away, "don't place that dirty hands of yours on me again. The last time I touched you was thirteen months ago, how then can you claim I own the baby? Is it not logical to think that you crave for sex so much and since your husband isn't giving you, you sought for it in another man?" 

"Drake..." Lily cried earnesly. She wanted to explain to him that he had a night stand with her in his drunken state a few days ago but the man already left her presence. 

Lily felt as if her heart was being butchered. She felt as though several sharp pins were being punched into her heart. Her heart bleeds in pain and her eyes poured heavy tears. While sobbing painfully on her knees, the door opened and on raising her head, she saw the doctor walked in. 

"Please lay on the bed, Mrs. Bell, this wouldn't take time and it wouldn't be much painful," the doctor said as he went ahead to the kits he would use in performing the surgical abortion. 

With tears rushing down her face, she laid on the bed. She had been married for five years but had not conceived. Now that she conceived, her husband is killing her baby. As she laid hopelessly on the bed, she placed her hand on her belly and mumbled, "baby, mommy wish to fight for you but my strength is little. I wish I can bore you and have you as my companion. You would have been my joy, my happiness but I'm sorry..." She cried even as her voice trailed off. 

The doctor stood before her and commenced the abortion procedure. 

Forty minutes later, the doctor walked over to where Drake Bell was. He was with his Numerous bodyguards. 

"Sir, I have completed the abortion procedure, sir." The doctor reported. 

"Good." Drake Bell said and walked out of the hospital with his guards. 

Lily's eyes fluttered open and realizing she was still in the hospital, her heart ached. She sat upright and looked at her lap, she saw traces of blood there and her heart shrinked in pain. 

She threw her two legs to the floor painfully and managed to stand. "A man who can kill my baby is no longer worthy of called a husband. Drake Bell, you have killed my innocent child, I have now stopped loving you and will come back in the future to avenge my innocent baby that you killed today."

She walked out of the hospital and took a cab straight to the civil bureau, she filed for a divorce and took the divorce paper to the Drake Bell's villa. She slammed it on the center table then took only her clothes and left Drake Bell's villa.
