Chapter One

Jenna

I stared into the mirror in front of me, staring at the young, proud girl staring back at me. I was about to be crowned as the Luna of the pack 

I was indeed blessed by the moon goddess.

"That happy", the voice rang in my ears and I smiled so wide..

The first I've done in few years.

"Yes, Jen", I said so excitedly that it came out as a squeal.

"I'm excited that I can't wait for it, I'd finally be with Dave forever", she said

"And I get to live my life with Damon",I said 

That was Jen, my wolf, the greatest gift I got when I was 18, and I'm Jenna, the mate to the Alpha's son, Damon, who was about to be crowned "Alpha of the Silverwhitmore pack"

The Coronation was tonight.

"Jenna", the deep voice came jolting me out of my thoughts 

"Jenna, Are you home?", the voice called out again.

"Oh shit", I cussed, smiling as I recognized the voice.

I walked out of my room, running down the stairs and I jumped into his hands which he had already spread out for me.

I wrapped my legs round his waist and my hands round his neck while his hands rested on my back, pulling me closer like we hadn't seen in years.

"Did you have to be do loud, Damon, Grandmother might be asleep", I said into his ears 

"Giving you the extra key was a mistake", I said jokingly.

"C'mon, you should know I wouldn't want to wake her up, she's not home, we met at the door", he whispered back into my ears, making me shiver.

"Huh..., She's not around?", I repeated.

Which was weird as she didn't mention she wasn't going to be home.

"So how's my cute Luna fairing", he asked, pulling back to stare into my eyes.

His dark brown eyes piercing through mine.

"The Luna requested to see me", I said

"My mother", Damon asked and I nodded.

"She mentioned we had a place to be and I also have to meet Mia by....", I said, stopping to look at the time.

"OMG, I'm running late", I said, releasing my legs around his waist, attempting to get down but he stopped me.

"I'm not included in any of your schedules for the day", he said, almost like he was whining.

"No, You're not, you probably have things to do", I replied him..

"But I always make time for you", he said and without hesitation, he slammed his lips against mine.

Jen squealed in my mind, jumping all over the place and he nibbled on my lower lip, biting it a little bit...not in a way that it hurts, more in a way that felt pleasing.

I gasped and he took that as a cue to deepen the kiss, his tongue exploring my mouth as we both fought for dominace as I kissed him back.

He walked closely to the sofa, which was a bit close to you and placed me down gently, not breaking the contact.

Not like I wanted him to anyways.

After few seconds, I felt his mouth on my neck and I whimpered both from the loss of contact and from the pleasure. He nibbled on my neck, placing soft kisses gently and slowly, while his hands found their way into the top I was wearing.

His hands found my boobs under the cloth, as they weren't packed up anyways and he growled, his big hands fondling them, flickering my nipples between his fingers, while I laid under him, a clear moaning mess.

"Damon...", I moaned and he raised his head to look at me.

I could see the dark brown eye filled with lust and need.

We both wanted it....but right here on my Grandmother's favourite couch.

Nahh...plus I was pretty sure I was keeping Mia waiting.

"I....", I started but didn't finish my words as I got interrupted by a knock, followed by the door opening.

"Oh shit", I cussed as I tried to get up from beneath him, but he stopped me, turning his head back to look at the door, while I wriggled to get up.

"What if....", I stared but didn't finish as I got interrupted by a loud voice 

"Eww..get a room", the voice came and I breathed a sigh of relief. It was Mia.

"You should learn to trust me", he said, smiling as he stood up, giving me freedom to sit up..

"Says the person who forgot to lock the door", I replied back 

"Ahem...", Mia coughed, making us realize she was still standing there.

"Someone kept me waiting at the bus stop for over an hour", she whined.

"I'm so sorry, Mia..I had to...", I started but for what felt like the 100th time today, I got interrupted 

"Yes, you had the keep me waiting, to attend to your boyfriend", she said 

"The Alpha by the way, get used to that", Damon said, teasing Mia and I hit his hands, glancing at him.

"Are you helping me out or not?"I asked between gritted teeths.

"Mia can't get mad at you, you'd always figure things out, that's what you both do", he said as he placed a kiss on my forehead and turned to leave.

"See you at night", he whispered and then turned to Mia.

"You two...have fun", he said as he left.

"Yes...the Coronation", I thought and I smiled.

Damon, Mia and I have always been the popular trio back then in school. Damon was just few years older than we were and we met few years after my parents died, protecting the pack.

They were pack hunters.

We met at the Cemetery when I went with my grandmother to visit my parents, when I was 16, which was about five years ago. We started dating few months later and when we both found out we were each other's mates. We couldn't be thankful enough.

It was like the moon goddess wanted us to be together.

"Jenna, go get ready, we're running out of time", Mia said and I jolted back to reality, running up the stairs to prepare.

I couldn't keep the Luna waiting.

The moon hung heavy and full in the sky, I could hear voices, noises and excitement from where I was. The entire Silverwhitmore Pack was alive with anticipation, preparing to witness something sacred, the coronation of their Alpha and Luna.

And not just any Luna.

Me.

I stood before the mirror in the room, where I was preparing, my long glistering royal blue gown hugging my skin tightly.

"Your parents would be so proud of you", I heard the voice and I felt tears well up in my eyes.

"Grandmother", I said, stressing the word as she pulled me into a tight hug..

"You've done well my darling, the moon goddess would guide you", she said, tapping my back before releasing me slowly.

My hands trembled but not from fear, from disbelief.

It still felt surreal, the responsibilities as the Luna..

The fact that I was going to be with Damon forever.

That alone was all I've always wanted.

I remebered briefly my meeting with the Luna, how she showed me things I was expected to know and do as the pack Luna.

And tonight was it .

It was going to be official, I was going to be crowned as the Luna and Damon, the Alpha.

I didn't notice Grandmother had left until I heard Mia's voice.

"Are you ready", I heard her voice behind me.

Only then did I realize that I wasn't alone...

"I can't believe this is happening", I whispered, smoothening my dress.

"Neither can I", she said smiling 

"I'd leave you to gather your thoughts", she said and she walked out of the room..

I stood in front of the mirror, out of thoughts and suddenly the door opened. I could see that it was the Luna from the mirror, so I turned to look at her..

But something strange happened.

I felt dizzy the moment I turned away from the mirror, the room spinned and I could have sworn that I saw a spark but I couldn't place what made the spark or where the light came from.

And then everything went black..

And then I woke up, but in a different place.

"The coronation", I whispered as I stood up from the bed, looking around.

"How did I get here", I thought 

It wasn't Damon's room and definitely not the hall where I was dressing up earlier...

The room was a bit different...a quite dark asthetics with a feminine touch..

I walked out of the room and I walked to the hall.

The Coronation had started, which was a bit weird.

They wouldn't start without me...their Luna-to- be.

I walked into the hall and my breath caught as I stared at my body, my face smiling up at Damon as he kissed the back of her hand.

I was about to talk when I heard a voice.

"Miss Clara, Are you fine now", she asked, looking at me.

"Clara", I repeated in my head.

That's Damon's sister name.

I looked down at my gown and I saw that it wasn't the royal blue I wore few minutes ago.

"I don't know....", I began but I stopped midway, gasping as I saw my reflection in the mirror across the hall.

Clara stared back at me.

And when I spoke.....it was her voice I heard.

My own voice screamed in my head but only Damon sister's voice came out.

I was trapped.....replaced in Clara's body.

And someone I had no idea of was wearing my skin.
