LOGINDay 2 Switzerland
Dahlia woke up still in yesterday’s clothes, her mind foggy and blank.
“At least I’m not naked,” she muttered, heading to the bathroom.
She stumbled out of her room, rubbing her head and yawning, and made her way to the kitchen. There, she spotted Lupin sprawled on the couch, shirtless and in just his boxers. She froze, staring.
“Wouldn’t mind having him all night,” Jane whispered from behind, making Dahlia jump.
She laughed. “I mean, who wouldn’t?” then turned and walked into the kitchen to start the coffee. She closed her eyes, feeling a warmth spread through her. Hunter. She knew it was him before he even spoke. His body pressed against her back, hot and familiar. “Missed me?” he murmured.
“Wouldn’t be honest if I said no,” she replied.
He chuckled, turned her around, and kissed her, his hand slipping under her sweater as her body arched into his.
“Get a room, Flora called out.
They laughed, breaking apart.
Lupin appeared in just his shorts, and Flora gave him an appraising look.
“Like what you see?” he smirked, then walked over to Dahlia and kissed her.
Dan, Henry, and Jane strolled into the kitchen, already buzzing with energy.
“Party tonight,” Henry announced, holding up a couple of bottles. “Drinks and snacks are on me. You in?”
Jane grinned. “What do you say, guys?”
Lupin shrugged. “I’m down if Dahlia’s cool with it.”
She nodded. “Fine by me,” she said, then slipped into her room and locked the door behind her.
“I want them both,” she thought to herself, laughing quietly. One more than the other, sure, but she wouldn’t complain either way. “Just lost your virginity and already thinking dirty. Get a grip,” she teased herself as she got dressed.
A knock interrupted her. She opened the door to find Lupin decked out in ski gear, holding a pile of packages.
“What’s all this?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Didn’t know what color you’d like, so I got one of each,” he said casually, dropping the packages on the floor. “Gear up. We’re teaching you to ski.”
She picked the bright blue one, it made her green eyes pop, and walked out to find the others waiting for her, ready to go.
They hit the slopes, Lupin thought her how to stand first. She fell few times on top of him. Eventually she figured it out. Dahlia was a fast learner. By noon she master the small slope.
We go to eat then we try the big slope, Lupin said
Hunter pulled her in his arms, as the jackets came off. I needed a hug, he told her as his lips brushed hers. He had you all morning.
This is getting weird. Dahlia looked between them
Nope, they said together
The cabin- the party
They stepped inside to find the fireplace roaring, the air thick with warmth. Pine branches draped the table, surrounded by a spread of snacks and enough alcohol to fuel a small army. Dahlia slipped away to change, returning just as the chaos was kicking off.
Games started, shots were downed with every loss, and the mood was electric. Jane stood, glass in hand, and launched into a toast that was equal parts heartfelt and ridiculous. Glasses clinked, and everyone drank.
Then Dahlia felt it, something off. Her skin felt like it was burning from the inside. Hunter pulled her into his lap, his kisses sending waves of heat through her. Lupin’s hands slid under her lounge pants, and she melted into them, the room spinning.
Hunter carried her to the bedroom, where everything blurred. She was bare, Lupin’s lips tracing her body while Hunter kissed her with a hunger that left her breathless. She lost count of how many times they brought her to the edge, each moment feeling surreal, like a dream she never wanted to wake from.
Later, she found herself back in Hunter’s lap, Lupin’s hands roaming her back as his mouth claimed hers. Hunter’s touch on her breast drew a loud moan from her, her hand brushing against Lupin’s arousal. Reality flickered in and out, the world fading until it was just them.
In the morning the door swung open. “Girl, what the hell? I told you to get laid, not start a damn ménage à trois,” Todd barked, staring at the scene.
“Todd, chill,” Jason said, stepping in behind him.
Dahlia blinked awake, finding herself draped over Hunter with Lupin’s arms wrapped around her from behind. “Todd?” she mumbled, her vision still blurry.
“Yeah, Todd. Get your ass dressed and come out here. Now,” he snapped, glaring at the two naked men who were now sitting up, looking equally stunned.
Todd lunged forward, but Jason caught his arm. “We’ll be outside,” Jason said, shooting a smirk over his shoulder as he dragged Todd out.
Dahlia glanced between Hunter and Lupin, her hands covering her face. “Last night… that actually happened?”
Lupin pulled her hands down, leaning over her. “Yeah, it did,” he said, kissing her before letting her fall back onto the pillows.
“Jane fucking spiked the drinks,” Hunter muttered, running a hand through his hair.
“My dads are going to murder you both,” Dahlia groaned, half-laughing, half-dreading the inevitable conversation.
They pulled their clothes on and shuffled into the living room, where Todd, Jason, and some guy in a suit were seated. Dahlia walked over and hugged Todd and Jason, her nerves twisting her stomach.
“Girl, I’m… honestly shocked,” Todd said, shooting a pointed look at Hunter and Lupin. “But we’ll circle back to that later. This is Mr. Vanus. Lawyer, PI, guy who tracks down people. Apparently, someone from your family’s been looking for you. So, uh, listen up.”
Dahlia sank into a chair, her mind racing. “Okay…?”
Mr. Vanus cleared his throat. “Ms. Fin, you were born in Netherland, small town, quiet life. Your parents died in what was ruled an accident, but it was later determined to be murder. They left you in the care of a woman named Heidi Kent, a relative of your mother’s. She took you to the U.S. and dropped you at an orphanage.”
Dahlia blinked. “Wait, why? She couldn’t handle me or something?”
Vanus leaned forward, his tone sharp. “Oh, she could’ve.
His lips brushed her skin like whispers, and his hands wandered with a tenderness that made her head spin. Bram leaned over her, his kisses trailing down as he pressed into her, drawing a sharp gasp from her lips.He slowed, his mouth finding her breast while his hand traced the curve of her side. Her moans grew louder as he quickened his pace, her body trembling beneath him.Her breath hitched against his lips as he kissed her, still deep inside. With a swift motion, he flipped her on top of him, guiding her movements as she rocked slowly.Bram silenced her cries with his mouth, then trailed lower, his hands gripping her hips as she arched into him. Together they unraveled, his arms tight around her waist, pulling her close as they both came undone. She lay motionless beside him."Dahlia," Bram whispered, "look at me." When her eyes finally met his, he gently rolled her onto her back."I'm fine, Bram," she murmured."What happened at work today?"She traced a finger along his collarb
Dahlia approached Mr. Mel's desk. "Could I be assigned to someone else, please?""Jane needs to learn her lesson, and you've become valuable to me. I'll mention your promotion at the executive meeting. They're bound to hire you soon."Jane crossed her arms. "I refuse to take orders from an intern.""Then pack your things," Mr. Mel said coldly. "Consider yourself lucky I'm not firing you outright."Dahlia stuffed her belongings into her backpack and hurried toward the elevator. Inside, Flora and Jane stepped in behind her. As the doors sealed them in, Jane grabbed a fistful of Dahlia's hair. Dahlia's palm connected with Jane's cheek in a sharp slap."Don't touch me!" Dahlia's voice echoed in the small space. Flora snickered."We'll make you regret this," she whispered as the doors opened and other employees entered. At lobby floor, Dahlia bolted, not stopping until she reached home.Inside, she hurled her backpack onto the couch and released a primal scream, burying her face in a pillo
Bram verified all the cameras through his phone app. Everything functioned properly, even the doorway security.Dahlia shuffled into the living room in flannel pajamas. "I'll make some tea. Thanks for setting everything up.""There's food in the fridge, and coffee..." His words cut short as she wrapped her arms around him."Actually, I'm exhausted. Forget the tea." She trudged toward the bedroom and collapsed into sleep almost instantly.Later, Bram crept in and pulled the blanket over her. *Watching her sleep like some stalker*, he thought before retreating to his own bed. When morning came, Dahlia groaned at the alarm's intrusion, smacked it silent, and drifted back to sleep."Dahlia, up! Coffee's ready," he called from the kitchen. She stumbled in with tangled hair and half-lidded eyes, slumping onto a barstool. He handed her a steaming mug, suppressing a smile. She caught his expression. "What?""Just remembering you've never been a morning person," he chuckled. After sipping her
"Why are you being so stubborn?" Bram's voice rose with frustration.Dahlia clenched her fists. "Because if I tell you..." She paused, then exploded, "You'll tear them apart!"Todd pushed his sleep mask up onto his forehead. Through bleary eyes, he saw Dahlia standing in the aisle near the bathroom, facing off with Bram."Dahlia, for this to work, whether you choose me or not, we need honesty between us," Bram said, his tone softening."I am being honest! I haven't lied about..." She hesitated. "Well, mostly. Just give me space!" Her voice echoed through the cabin.Jason bolted upright. "What the hell is going on?"Todd stepped between them, hands raised. "Bram, please return to your seat."Bram held Dahlia's gaze for a long moment before turning away.Todd turned to Dahlia. "Deep breath. What happened?""I remembered who gave me this scar, and he..." Her hands trembled visibly. "He wants to know.""Breathe," Todd said gently. She exhaled slowly. "Why don't you sketch something on you
Dahlia opened her eyes to the crackling fireplace, feeling the weight of an arm around her and the warmth of a body pressed against hers. She turned slowly, meeting his gaze. For a long moment, they simply stared at each other before his lips found hers in a gentle kiss, his arms drawing her closer. She remained still, unable to respond. Finally breaking away, Dahlia retreated to the bathroom, locking the door behind her before turning on the shower. Her emotions were in turmoil. Bram was so different, controlled and gentle, despite his intimidating physique that suggested violence rather than tenderness. "Why am I comparing them?" she whispered to herself. When she returned to the bedroom, he had gone, leaving several boxes on the bed. Inside, she discovered an elegant wool suit, boots, and a new long coat."How thoughtful," Dahlia murmured, dressing quickly before heading downstairs. The room fell silent as she entered. Ganh approached her, and her instincts immediately sounded an a
Everything hit her like a freight train. The feelings were too much, too fast.“Alright, everyone, give her some room,” Bram said, as if he’d plucked the thought right out of her head. “I’ll take you to your room. We kept it untouched, no one’s been allowed in since you left.”“Thanks, Bram,” Dahlia replied. He fumbled with an old key before finally unlocking the door. Dahlia stepped inside, her eyes scanning the space. Bits of memories trickled back, some faint, others sharp and uneasy.“Hopefully this jogs a few things loose,” Bram said, watching her carefully.Dahlia moved to the dresser, her fingers brushing over a small wooden horse. She picked it up, holding it gently.“I made that for you,” a boy’s voice echoed in her mind. “Happy birthday!”“Thank you, Bram. It’s lovely,”She pulled him into a hug. “I remember this. You gave it to me for my birthday.”He hugged her back, his grip firm. “I’m glad you’re starting to remember, Dahlia. But let’s get some air, this is a lot to proc
