The temperature went up a degree, but the suppression from Peter Crawford did not let up. It was becoming more difficult for Spencer Kent to even breathe in the midst of all this pressure.
“You do realize that you are threatening me? I could rid of you and no one in your family could ever question your disappearance.” The threat in his voice was evident to Spencer, but he would not back down.
