Chapter four

Arianna has a photoshoot with a fashion line which will be launched that weekend. She looks so beautiful and elegant in all the clothes she wore. The shoot ended and was wrapped up successfully. Arianna's PA rushed to her, she's Brittany, a cute lively girl.

    "Ma'am, your next shoot is for a magazine cover by 12pm"

     "Okay. What's the time?

    "It's 11:20 am ma'am"

    "Can we make it to the place before 12pm?

     "Yes ma'am. It's literally a 10 minutes drive from here"

    "Good. Grab my stuff's while I get that over there and let's go"

   "Yes ma'am"

Arianna and Brittany got into the car an they drove off for her next shoot.

Gavin got out of the conference room. His secretary approached him and told him what's next on his schedule.

     "You have a meeting right now. She's waiting for you in your office"

    "She's here already?. I'll go meet with her, but I was supposed to meet her at a cafe. Why is she here? Goodness"

     "My apologies sir"

     "No problem. I'll go ahead"

Gavin left for his office to meet up with the lady while his secretary left to prepare some documents.

Arianna arrived at her next shoot. She hurried inside and met up with the designer who took her to her dressing room to get ready. Brittany helped her change for her shoot. Arianna looked so beautiful and gave a perfect expression and striking glamorous poses . The shoot ended well. Brittany rushed to her.

      "Ma'am, I must confess. You're really beautiful. I wonder how your fans survive when they meet you in reality"

   "Why say so?

    "You're so beautiful in reality, humble and kind-hearted. You're really cute too"

   "You flatter me Brittany. I'm really hungry"

    "What may I order for you?

    "No. Let's go have lunch. It's past my lunch time already, that's why I'm really hungry"

     "Oh no. My apologies. It's already 3pm. Let's go. May I carry your bag?

     "No need. It's not heavy, I'll carry it. Let's go"

Gavin and Arianna drove into their house at the same time, as if they planned it. Arianna got out of the car and turned, making an eye contact with Gavin. Samantha was reading a magazine in the living room when they walked in.

     "Good evening Mrs Samantha" 

    "Good evening. You're back?

     "Yes, I'm back"

     "Pretty early than usual"

     "My shoot ended early so I decided to come home"

    "I see. To what? An empty house? This would have been better, My shoot ended so I decided to come home and spend time with my kids. Ah! Yes. Unfortunately you have none. You may go ahead"

     "Well... it's not entirely my fault"

     "Whose fault then?

     "Mum... enough. Stop taunting her" Gavin said

      "I'm not taunting her. Am I dear?

    "It's glaring mum. Quit taunting her for your own good. Is Nora back yet?

       "Not yet. She..."

     "I'm here. Oh my. Are we just arriving? I'm really starving. I need some food. So hungry that I can have Gavin for dinner"

      "Haha, impossible" Gavin said with a smile

     "Being sarcastic. Geez. Hi Ari, how are you?

     "Fine. I'll be in my room" Arianna replied and left in anger.

    "What's with her Gavin? Nora asked

    "Ask your mum what she said to her. I'll head to my room. I'm really tired. Make dinner ASAP"  Gavin said and left

    "Mum, did you say something stupid to Arianna that upset her?

    "Not really. Go ahead and freshen up. I'll ask them to prepare dinner"

    "Yes mum"

Arianna was in her underwear when Gavin walked in. He quickly turned and covered his face.

        "Arianna...always use the dressing room to change your clothes"

     "Why should I? You just broke my rule, never to walk in while I'm changing my outfit and never to see my nakedness"

      "You ain't naked"

     "I'm practically naked"

    "It's not my fault. You didn't look the door"

     "And you didn't knock"

     "Who knocks while entering his bedroom ?

      "His? Hello...our bedroom. You can turn . I'm done. I'm on towel now"

     "Finally. I guess one day you'll definitely give me a heart attack. Goodness"

     "And I pray so. I can't for that day to come"

    "What? You wish me dead?

     "Yen, yen, yen.... whatever"

Arianna left for the bathroom while Gavin undressed and placed his clothes in the laundry bag. He was on towel waiting for Arianna. He sat on the bed reading a novel when he noticed the door handle turn. He dropped the novel and approached the bathroom. Arianna stepped out and he went in, about to the shut the door when he noticed Arianna's hands on the door. She had forgotten her beauty mask inside the bathroom. She rushed in to search for it.

      "Arianna...am I not allowed to take my bath?

     "Sshhh.... I'm looking for my beauty mask"

     "Beauty what? Like you're beautiful. Is it gonna make you beautiful?

     "Found it. What? Are you saying that I'm ugly?

     "Please leave I need to take my bath"

     "Yeah , whatever. Not like I'm interested in you. I'm not even curious to see your nakedness. I can swear it's not appealing" she said looking down.

     "What are you looking at? Arianna you naughty lady. Get out'

    "Tell...is it worth seeing?

       "Please leave. I know it's not appealing and it's not worth seeing"

     "Fine I'll leave. I can swear it's not worth it"

     "Just get out and be careful. I wonder if you were bathing the floor too"

Arianna turned to leave and her first step was made on the slippery part of the floor. She slipped and almost fell. Gavin's hand was fast and went round her waist preventing her from falling. He pulled her up , close to him. They had a romantic eye moment. Arianna noticed her husband was really handsome and hot.

Nora walked in to call them down for dinner. She noticed the bathroom door open and went in and saw the lovely couple, pretty lost in their own world of romance. Their little romantic connection ended when Nora made a cough sound.

     "Nora, what are you doing in my bathroom! Gavin yelled as he felt weird being caught in such position by Nora.

     "Uhmm...our bathroom" Arianna added.

     "Sorry, not my fault. You guys left the bathroom door open, that's why I walked in. I'm really sorry for ruining your lovely moment. I wish I got it on camera"

      "Are you done with your rubbish? You may leave now Nora"

     "Why are you here? Arianna asked Nora.

     "Ah! Yes, I almost forgot. Dinner is set. Come quick. Uhmm..are you guys intending to take the whole night to bath? It's already an hour since you two came up here"

      "No . Not at all. We'll be down soon" Arianna replied her.

    "Leave Nora. Leave!

    "Yes I'll leave. Stop yelling" Nora said and left.

    "And you Arianna...get out but be careful. The floor is slippery. You may fall and break a bone. I can't take care of a such person"

     "Why would I break a bone when I have a perfect model life and career for myself? I can't afford to get injured. Go ahead and bath. Not like it's huge or enticing"

     "Arianna!!

Arianna left the bathroom laughing while Gavin shut the door immediately. She leaned against the wall and placed her hand on her chest while she recalled the moment in the bathroom.

      "What just happened? I know Gavin is good looking but tonight he looked so hot and so and so handsome. And what's happening to me? Why all of a sudden, my heart is beating so fast? Why do I feel hot? Maybe because of the bathroom. I can't believe this....I almost threw myself at him. Felt like he used some magic on me. No, no, no... Arianna.. he doesn't deserve you. My heart be still and sealed. But how can my heart be sealed when I love him and my heart beats for him.  I mean... I've loved him since the first time I saw him. He's just ambitious and greedy. If he was the opposite...our marriage would be wonderful. Stop Ari, stop dreaming. He doesn't love you. He's an ambitious greedy fool. Yes, that's what he is. Let's wear our sleepwear"

Arianna changed into her sleepwear and went down for dinner. Gavin joined shortly after having his bath. Arianna's heart raced so fast especially when she made eye contacts with Gavin at the dining room.

She finished up with her meal and left for their bathroom. She sat on the bed staring into the air. When she noticed the door open, she quickly laid on the bed and pulled up the duvet to cover herself. Gavin walked in and sat on his bed.

He picked up the novel on the bed which he was reading earlier and continued reading. Arianna slowly popped out her head and his posture caught her attention. She watched him flip the pages of the novel and his lips caught her attention especially when he bit them. 

Gavin noticed he was been stared at and turned immediately. Ariann was fast enough to cover up herself. Gavin smirked and close the novel and dropped it on his table. He stared at Arianna. Ariann turned slowly and put down the duvet a bit . She lifted her head a little and made an eye contact with Gavin. 

Arianna froze and became helpless. She quickly yawned and turned, backing Gavin.  Gavin switched off the head lamp.  

     "Good night Arianna. I know you're awake. You're so naughty. You can hear me. You don't need to respond. Good night and go to sleep. If you stare at me, I'll know. I won't sleep if I'm been stared at. Sleep tight"

      "Thank goodness he didn't notice me so much. I'm so exhausted. I turn again. I'll just sleep this way"

She swithed off her head lamp and covered up and slept off
