Chapter 13

Looking at her friends injured foot, fortune sighed softly. "Let me prepare lunch then for dinner, I will ask Brandon if we can just buy some food then have it from here since your foot isn't fine and you need to avoid standing for long, I don't want to hear any objections from you"Fortune said without allowing Asia to retort. Fortune did as she said and soon it would be 6. she was ready on time and at 5:55 her phone rang."are you ready?" Brandon asked on the other end. "yes, let me come out" she hung up and went out, she saw Brandon's car not far and walked to the passengers door, opened it and sat. she looked at him and said " Brandon, can we have dinner in my apartment?" . This came so suddenly and Brandon wondered "but why, is there any problem if we eat from outside?"fortune shook her head in disagreement"no, no there's no problem at all, the thing is that something happened earlier today in the morning. Asia's boyfriend and cousin came earlier for breakfast and as Asia was carrying the plates to the table, she accidentally broke them and mistakenly stepped on some glass fragments on the floor barefoot so she can't really walk or stand for long not until she's better." Fortune explained, although she didn't mention the drama that went on, it wasn't in her place to tell anyone about her friends love life and she hadn't known Brandon for a long time anyway so there was no need to mention that part. " Brandon nodded and finally understood,so she went out with Asia's cousin to give Asia and her boyfriend privacy or how exactly was it. he asked again" so you had breakfast and lunch from home?".    Fortune found the question a little awkward and answered truthfully" actually, Asia and her boyfriend were having some issues so her cousin and I had our breakfast out". Brandon now understood what he saw earlier. "let's buy take away packs then come eat from home". Brandon smiled and started the car, bought food at a fast food restaurant and drove back to the apartment. they went in and fortune put the food on the table, carried Asia's share and took it to her room. "fortune I'm sorry to bother you like this". " just keep quiet and make sure you finish your food, if you need anything, I will be in the living room with Brandon" fortune said like a little parent and left the room. Asia was at a loss and smiled. 

Fortune went and sat beside Brandon and they started eating, after the meal, they sat on the couch and were talking while Brandon was sipping on some wine that he came with. All of the sudden he had the urge to kiss fortune and he pulled fortune towards his body and kissed her. Fortune was shocked and didn't know how to react, before she knew it, the kiss got out of control and she had to push him away, catch her breath a little and said "Brandon I told you before that I don't want to rush into this, I hope you can respect my decision please". Brandon felt embarrassed, he said he would respect her decision but just now, he lost his cool. "I'm sorry it won't happen again". 

Time flew by and it was time to go back home for the festive holiday season. Fortune made it successfully to her second year as well as Asia.                Chris had gone back abroad and always communicated with his girlfriend. Zack on the other hand would go to the girls apartment in the name of visiting his cousin when in actual sense, he only wanted to see fortune. Brandon made it to his second year as well although he acted innocent in front of fortune, the truth is that he felt punished  he wanted to satiate his desires but fortune gave him a song of taking things slowly and it was almost a year but there was still no sign of fortune giving in. 

Camilla on the other hand failed all year and had to bribe the corrupt principal to allow her repeat. Ever since she found out that Brandon was Fortune's boyfriend, she was thinking of how to come up with a malicious plan to separate them. Each time she saw Brandon, she always had a covetous feeling and wanted him. He was driving an expensive car and would go to high end restaurants, being an extravagant person, Camilla wanted this to herself. anyways after the festive season, she would definitely try and seduce him after all, the only rules that matter are what man can do and what man can't do, in this case, she can seduce Brandon, she wasn't breaking any rule. I definitely have to come up with a nefarious plan that would break them completely Camilla smiled malevolently.
