03~ A Little Torture

(One Month Later…)

It seemed like Olsen never cared about the safety of Freya any more, giving Vincenzo chances to keep hurting her the most. Olsen's hesitation to surrender himself had gotten Vincenzo to the point that each passing time he looked at Freya, he had a thousand reasons to make her suffer for the sake of her brother.

He made sure she never left the cell until he said so. And even when she did leave the cell, he interrogated her with questions. What annoys him the more is the fact that he wasn't getting the answer he needed from her.

Despite having such a heartless brother like Olsen, the only thing Freya couldn't do is to expose his hiding place to any one. She knew even if she had to tell Vincenzo, it wouldn't make her free from his nest. She has heard a lot about mafia's, they aren't the easy going type of people.

Speaking out of experience, Olsen wasn't soft when it comes to revenge. He takes life like it didn't matter. He hunts life and slaughters humans like animals. The one that happened right before her eyes, Olsen pulled the trigger, blowing off the head of his victim. He had asked her to close her eyes but she had them opened, sending the victim to his early grave.

She refused to talk to him for two days after the incident. It was then he explained to her what he does for a living. Learning he is a gangster was the most difficult thing for Freya. But what keeps surprising her is the fact that she found it difficult to tell Vincenzo a shit about where Olsen stays.

"I'm gonna ask you for the last time, Miss Bred, where does your brother stay?"

Tears had already stained her face, he wasn't only interrogating her, he was threatening her. He was likewise torturing her, but she knew she had to endure every thing. "I already told you, asshole… I don't know any thing." He landed a resounding slap on her cheeks.

"You still haven't learned, have you?"

Freya chuckled which eventually turned to laughter. Vincenzo stared at her disgustedly. "What the fuck is funny, huh?"

"You are. You are funny, Mr Vincenzo Ferdinando." She said, mentioning his name in full. "Do you think you can win by threatening me? What makes you think that my brother will surrender to you?" She scoffed. "It's already a month now, and yet Olsen hasn't shown up, do you still think he will?"

He pulls her head, dragging her close to him. She groaned painfully, holding the lower part of her hair to ease the pain. "Of course, he will. Maybe I haven't gone so far with you that's why he takes me for granted. After I am done with you, I will make sure he watches every single video of how I make your life miserable. After I am done with you, and after I have taken your life away, I won't stop hunting him until I find him."

"Trust me, you won't find him. Where he is, not even your silly tracking machine can find him."

He smirked evilly. "Now I see, there's some thing you're not telling me. But don't worry, I'm gonna get it out from your mouth."

He lets go of her hair, looking at the guard who is in charge of torture. "Don't stop until she spits the words out. I need an answer before night falls." He ordered.

He looked at Freya who was now shaking in fear. "We'll see who is smarter now." He walked out of the room, leaving Freya in the hands of the not-so-friendly looking guard.

He dragged her to sit on the metal chair, locking her both hands and feet. Freya screamed for help, but the thick walls of the room made it impossible for some one outside to hear her voice.

"Where is he?" Asked the guard. "Where does he stay?"

"Fuck you!"

He covered her face with a cloth, pouring water into her mouth. He stopped, taking off the cloth from her face. "I'm gonna ask you again, where is Olsen hiding?"

"Fuck… you."

Again, he covered her face, pouring a large amount of water in her mouth. She was shaking as he kept pouring her water. He finally stopped, her face had turned dark red. She coughed, spitting out water from her mouth.

"Still won't talk?"

"Wait. Wait, I'll talk. Just don't… don't continue again."

"Where is he?" He asked again.

She was breathing heavily, trying to catch her lost breath. "He's… He's…. He's presently in your home, pointing his goddamn gun at your family. And he's waiting for you to walk out of that door before he pulls the trigger right on their heads. That's where he is, asshole."

He didn't find it quite funny, he pulls the cloth on her face, pouring water into her mouth. And when he saw she wasn't going to talk, he kept pouring until she had taken so much water. She passed out.

She was woken by the splash of water on her face. She coughed a large amount of water out of her mouth and she was surprised to see herself alive. She had almost thought she was dead. She looked at her both hands, they were still locked to the metal chair.

Vincenzo stood by the dark corner of the room, his both hands fused into his pockets. "You really are stubborn, I'd admit. You still won't confess where Olsen is?"

"You should just kill me already, I'm not saying a shit." She said as a matter of fact.

Vincenzo walked to her side, the lamp above her head illuminated on his face. He looked dead-killing with his dark eyes down on her. "Why? Why would you be so tough to defend some one who has already forsaken you?"

"Because I know Olsen, he's gonna come back for me."

"And what makes you think he'll walk out from here alive?"

Now that was a question Freya couldn't give an answer to.
