The Call after the Test

I started burning midnight candles after the challenge. It wasn't easy! The last time I read like this was during the scholarship Examination.

It's the day of the exam. Some of the students had left for the cafeteria during lunch period while some had vacated the class to the library. Laura entered the class from where God knows and walked to my seat.

"What are you doing?" She asked

"Taking a nap" I murmured, with my head placed on my locker.

"Hey! We have less than twenty-four hours to do the test. Don't forget that you are in trouble if you don't meet up!" She scolded

"Babe, I didn't sleep well last night for this same test. I just wanna rest for a while. I'll stay behind to study after school hours" I uttered

"Nope! I can't stand here, watching you getting yourself Into trouble! I've gotten some past questions about the test from the library. Let's go and treat them" she offered
