Rosalie silently got to her feet, abandoning the rest of her breakfast and looking at me expectantly.

"Do you know that some naughty little pixie crept into my room last night and took away all of my shoes?" I started conversationally, watching her as she fought back a smile. "Now I have to wear these duck slippers. Oh well," I sighed. "I'm sure they will give them back when they are ready."
