Xavier, who saw Mia’s desire for reading, had converted his mother’s spell room into a study for her. In the last few months, Mia had successfully read all the books on the shelf in her room. When she relayed it to Xavier, he seemed obliged to find a way out for her sake.
He borrowed her a few of his books from his study and in the little free time she had to herself, Mia finished them and returned them two days later, and that blew him away. He knew she loved books, but he didn’t know she loved them that much. This prompted the creation of the study, and after three days, it was almost completed.
Mia stood at the window of her study, which had a thick brown curtain to control the flow of light in the room. She watched as the workers placed the last book on the shelf and she looked impressed with the progress and speed of its transformation.

In her sleep, Mia heard a growl, and this pulled her into consciousness to find a pair of red blazing eyes hovering over her in bed.
