Waking with Cayden by my side was the strangest sensation in the world I have to say, yet one of the most natural too. Rek seemed to settle the moment he was within out arms, telling me that the theory that having your mate close can soothe your wolf as well as your soul. And considering the speed in which Cayden had fallen asleep it appeared to have the same affect on him.
