MAIA’S POV

“Ayra, What?” I yelled, getting to my feet hurriedly.

His voice trembled as he explained. “She was as peaceful as she’s always been until thirty minutes ago, she suddenly began to shake on the bed…”

The phone dropped from my hand weakly. Something happened to Ayra thirty minutes ago, and I was kissing Riot as if my life depended on it.

Riot had grabbed the phon from the floor, and with his usual scary voice, he questioned Adam. “What happened?”

I couldn't hear what Adam told him, but Riot sighed. “We’ll be there soon and then dropped the call.

“Let’s go there,” he said.

I felt weak and disoriented. But I got up slowly while he left quickly. All my mind could think of was the kind of torture Ayra would be passing through on the sick bed in a coma without food.
